Review
I had to return the first copy I received as one of the discs had broken off the holder and was terribly scratched. Returned the item and received a new copy quickly. No issues with the second copy.

A great season.
Although I did return this product due to the intended recipient buying it herself for Christmas, I had a blast watching this show, it's one of the most well craft seasons yet with really great jokes that sometimes fly past unless you're really paying attention and even have some great 'serious' episodes that lean heavily into character development and (sometimes) touch on some social/cultural issues.Great season to watch for a great show.

Great show, minimal extras.
Great show, ok DVDs. Good picture and sound, but the only extras are deleted scenes.

Brooklyn 99 Season 5
Still incredibly funny and got way deeper into the characters over the years. This season Rosa comes out as bi and all the rest. You will laugh at every episode. marriages coming outs....

this show gets better and better
This show is now one of my top favs. You could tell they needed the first season to figure out which way they were going with the characters but every season they get better and better.

The best comedy no one talks about
Way funnier than the Big Bang Theory, Modern Family, or any of the other TV comedies that get talked about a lot.

AS MAD AS CAN BE - LET IT NEVER BE OTHERWISE!
Admittedly some misfires en route (that half-sister anyone?), but Season 5 is another hilarious joy. 22 episodes start with Rosa and Jake in prison ( his cellmate a cannibal), end with a very special celebration (a cliffhanger in the last second). In between are moments to treasure. They range from the delightfully absurd (Holt's pie goes missing, his office cordoned off and declared a crime scene) to the more moving (a key character confessing bi-sexuality). Particularly impressive is Episode 14, a threesome with Jake and Holt striving for a breakthrough when interrogating a smug killer. As always, creators and cast are to be applauded. Critics may declare acting over the top and everything too silly for words. The rest of us will not be deterred, here a guilty pleasure that forever raises spirits.

Nine-nine!
Nine-nine! Love this show and I'm catching up with the ones I've missed. I already have the first four series in a box set and with this series as well I can honestly say that I love to watch them time and again because they make me laugh so much. A great show with quality characters that you become attached to.

Return To Form.
I loved this series for the first few seasons but found season 4 a big let-down to the point that I'd given up on it...however,having seen such positive reviews for season 5,I took a chance and bought the dvd.So pleased that I did as it really is a return to form.On its day,one of the best American sit-coms.
