Hired someone to put these together for me as this isn’t the kind of thing I could do. He put both together in about 4 hours, and they are absolutely gorgeous! He said they definitely felt sturdy. They’re wider than the typical bookshelf which I specifically wanted. Love the storage cabinets also. We were a little concerned because I realized after the fact that it stated this item gets returned a lot. I’m not sure why, but thank goodness mine went together easy and beautifully with no problems. The cabinets are soft close which adds a touch of elegance to them. I haven’t quite finished deciding what I want to put on the shelving as you can tell by pictures. But these really pull my room together. If you’re good at putting together things like this or willing to hire someone to do it, I recommend them.

Looks exactly as advertised. All hardware was included and lined up perfectly. Directions were easy to understand. Its definitely sturdy and heavy. Took awhile to put together but I took my time and red the directions one step at a time. This is a nice large display cabinet with storage. 2 tone color. I love it.

I purchased the dark walnut color. Beautiful, classic piece of furniture. Takes a good time to put together. Good size with plenty mixed storage options. Value for money: I wouldn't pay full price for it because of the wood quality, but will definitely buy on sale like I did. The only reason I gave it a 3 star rating it's because it's all made of COMPRESSED WOOD the only solid wood parts are the legs.

I am in LOOOOVE! I have been everywhere looking at cabinets and everything I saw ran from $899 to $2099 and while there was some I really like, none that I felt good enough for spending that money. In fact THIS exact cabinet by the same manufacturer is sold at Ashley furniture for about $325 more + delivery. No thank you, I will order from Amazon, save the money and build it myself. That way I have extra money to use to fill my new favorite furniture piece. Let me tell you, I was scared from some of the reviews that this was going to 1) be a really confusing and complicated build and 2) would end up with my husband and me in a hostile verbal war 😆. Boy was I shocked. The directions are very very easy to follow. I played out all the parts which were labeled in alphabet order. We separated the parts, read through the directions before we started and then just got moving. We brought in a 6’ folding table to start the building, which I highly recommend if you want to save your back and knees. We took our time, went step by step, which was easy to follow and explained so easily in photo directions until it was time to set it on the ground standing up to put the top arch on. Each piece is well made and sturdy, including the back piece which some complained about. The hardest thing about the assembly it maybe just getting the doors to hang straight and close well. Thankfully my husband is good at this so it only took 2-3 adjustments. Honestly cannot be happier and I hope if you’re on the fence that this helps give you some confidence that it really is a good quality piece, great direction, easy to assemble and just to dang beautiful. I’m off to Home Goods to hunt for decor items, wish me luck! 😂

I purchased this after looking at a lot of options. It was hard to find a wider cabinet that was tall as well. I put art work over it to extend the height. This cabinet took some time to assemble. Go slowly and follow the directions and it will go together nicely. I’m happy with my purchase. We have 10 foot ceilings. I also moved the shelves around to accommodate my drink dispenser.

Love this shelf! It takes a while to put together, but it’s well worth it! It scratches easily, though, hence the four stars.

This unit comes with a ton of fasteners and enough parts to ship in 2 separate boxes per shelf. The guy who said it’s cheap and flimsy clearly got screwed by the people who assembled the bookshelf. When done right they are easy but time consuming to put together. I didn’t have any specific intention for the storage space in these shelves, I just needed to fill a big empty wall in the entry room of the house. The hinges and shelf planks are of decent quality, but you do need to be careful with the torque applied to the screws as they can strip easily in the mdf wood.

Love this once we had it together. Took longer than 90 minutes! More like 3 hours but if you sort out all the pieces and take your time you be successful.
