DOOM: The Dark Ages – Xbox Series X

If you like Doom... this game will floor you. It's just a non stop blast from start to finish. Also it's about time the story got some much needed attention. It's an deep well though out campaign with incredibly interesting characters. Well done all around.

Game came sealed new in plastic wrap. Obviously the box/label art is as expected with a new sealed game and it is the correct North American version. No damage caused by shipping.The game content itself is not exceptional, but it is the DOOM game I was hoping for. Love the medieval atmosphere - reminds me slightly of Bloodborne but in a DOOM setting. Fun for playing when you just want to forget the day. You can choose to bother finding all the collectibles and extras in a region if you want a more focused experience beyond just changing difficulty. If you’re not into digital games, this is the physical copy you’re looking for.

I absolutely love Eternal, the previous game in the series, and I’m happy to say this game is the same level of quality. It’s not the same gameplay as Eternal, which I would say I enjoy more overall, but I still had a blast with this entry.

This game is awesome from start to finish. The shield gameplay mechanics really added to the fun when mowing down demons in the battle field. The mech and dragon gameplay was a lot of fun too. The cutscenes were a pleasure to watch as well, made the game more cinematic. This is an awesome game and I highly recommend you get it if you love first person shooters.

Dark Ages is another super fun entry in this modern age of Doom. Some new mechanics for the series including a heavy focus on shield usage and this is the best the series has ever looked!Only giving it 4 stars because it was a German copy of the game. Sellers reallllllly need to stop promoting NTSC photos and shipping EU versions…

This surpassed my expectations! The parry system took only a short adjustment period. Everything about this game is Heavy Metal Incarnate! Also, not one flaw in the physical disk. Absolutely worth the money if you have the time to play.

This is NOT Doom Eternal, It’s Doom the dark ages. I don’t know why people are complaining about this not being exactly like Doom Eternal, we want NEW STUFF not the same ol game with some new maps, THIS ISNT CALL OF DUTY!Yes there aren’t the glory kills like in Eternal, there’s a different type of finish system. I mean Eternal glory kills got a bit old once you seen the SAME ANIMATIONS a hundred times, then they just became time killers. This version of Doom is great IMO and I really like the Shield aspect and them making the DOOM SLAYER a TOTAL TANK! I mean you’re the DOOM SLAYER and have NO FEAR of Demons or ANYTHING of that matter. I absolutely love this Doom and so do the vast majority of folks, there’s just the same ol same ol “we hate everything, and Complain about Everything, spoiled entitled crowd minority” out there trying to bash YET ANOTHER GAME.One thing I do wish they would implement back into the game, is the fast travel option to go back and pick up secrets you may have missed or a select option from the level select menu. Because if you forget to check your map and miss some secret and have no path back, YOU NEED TO REPLAY THE ENTIRE MISSION. So LOOK AT YOUR MAP OFTEN, if you’re trying to 100% the game.Other than that, A HOMERUN DONT CHANGE ANYTHING!!
