Pwr+ Ac Adapter for Hp Mini 210 series and Compaq Series40 Watt Power Supply Cord Netbook Battery Charger

This adapter worked great on my Hp Spectre 360 for about a month, then suddenly stopped charging. The power brick light is on, but no power was getting to the laptop. I contacted Amazon customer service who put me on a conference call with Pwr+ customer service They were very helpful, offering an immediate exchange and a credit to my Amazon account for shipping. When they determined that the charger would be on backorder for a few weeks, they gave me an immediate refund so I could purchase another charger sooner, rather that be without my laptop, but still continued to help troubleshoot the problem with the charger. My charger might have been defective, but I was very impressed with the customer service and would try the product again.

I purchased three of these for various places around the house.The first one works great. The other two failed within a month but the seller was very responsive and quickly replaced both defective units.I hope these last two hold up because they are GREAT (when they work)!The cords are long and the black case is nice and doesn't stand out like a regular 'white' Apple charger.It would get 5 stars if they didn't fail so quickly, but their 5 star service makes up for it (almost)!

I am going to buy 3rd one, first one last 8 months and 2nd one last just 2 months. I am happy if it last 8 month.

I purchased this charger after ordering a similar one from another vendor-the other one melted! But this one has worked straight out of the box with little problems. This power cord has an extremely long cord which is very helpful along with a blue light on the box to let you know immediately if it's working.I would give it 5 stars but sometimes it doesn't want to start charging when I plug it in and I have to unplug it then plug it in a few times though this doesn't happen every time.Overall a perfect solution if you don't want to spend $60+ for a replacement charger.

I usually go to this company for purchasing additional power supplies. I had used their power supply for my old HP laptop for years, with no issues. I recently started using this with my 90watt req spectre and the unit failed within a week. I'm sure the higher power and quality control is an issue with these. Got a bad one this time 'round. Hopefully, they can review their manufacturing processes to correct the high failure rate.

Not into review writing, but .....Ordered two since the netbook, even though old, got plenty of use until the original plug broke. Has been to Iraq and Afghanistan. Have only opened one adapter so far and man is the cord long! I like the ability to sit anywhere and still reach an outlet. I must be the exception because the plug fits very tight in the netbook. I wiggled the plug and cord, and moved the netbook around and it never lost the charge connection. I was worried the battery could be shot since its been over a year since it was charged, but the netbook powered right up and within a few minutes the charge was at 5%. Adapter has a little heat to it, but its not hot so i feel its ok to leave plugged in unattended.Wasn't supposed to receive for another 3 days (earliest) so another plus, and it was sent via USPS Priority Mail and not UPS / FedEx. Impressed it got here that quick. Good job to PWR+, Amazon, and the USPS :-)

I used this with a Dell laptop for work. It worked really well for the first few weeks after I bought. After that, I received a docking station and no longer needed this adapter, so I put it in a drawer. I pulled it back out this past weekend to use it at home, and it won’t take power from any plug I use. The light on the adapter won’t light up, and the computer doesn’t charge.

Works just fine with my Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon and I love the long cord.I bought this as an extra charger to use when traveling. The computer's original charger is set up at my desk at home with the cord threaded through a back opening that's a little difficult to access, requiring me to crawl under the desk to install it. Rather than go through that every time I return home after traveling with my computer, I decided to buy a second charger. I chose this charger as my travel unit because I often find I need a longer cord to reach outlets when setting up at hotel tables and other non-office settings.It works well, the USB-C connector fits properly (just like the original charger's) and the long cord affords the extra reach I often need to access outlets when away from home.

I purchased this in the hopes of receiving 90w power delivery to my Ryzen Thinkpad and it fulfilled this purpose admirably, until the cable would not deliver power unless oriented in a particular angle.There appears to be nothing wrong with the power supply itself, but the cable somewhere between the Ferrite choke and USB-C connector either shorts or doesn't connect at all.After requesting a repair/replacement for this issue, the seller offered to refund a new device, but required me to destroy the original device by cutting the cord.This revealed that the advertising (see photo attached) was false: in reality there is no protective foil or copper braiding, just a thick plastic coating around the separately plastic insulated power lines.I received the new unit promptly and was refunded this second order, but again, around three months later the exact same issue with the exact same segment of cable (the part between the choke and the connector, where a specific orientation of that piece of cable is required for power delivery) occurred.Just the other day the unit stopped charging entirely and was received in June last year.It's a real shame and I wish that it was easy to just swap the cable, buying new cables every year is much less wasteful.
