I’m really impressed with this 4K camcorder! As a digital marketer, I’m always on the hunt for great content, and this camera nails it. The 4K video and 48MP photos look amazing, and that 18X digital zoom is perfect for getting up close. The IR night vision is super handy for low-light shots, and the external mic makes sure my audio is spot on. Plus, the rotating touchscreen makes it easy to frame my shots. With two rechargeable batteries and a remote, it’s a fantastic pick for beginners and vloggers. I highly recommend it!

Audio quality was horrible, both with built-in and external mic. Sounded huge, garbled, and monstrous. And audio didn't sync with video. I'd call that a defect, which I know others have experienced. The deal breaker for me, and what I didn't realize before buying - is that it has NO auto focus feature, nor manual focus, and recommends the subject always be six feet away. For my purposes that makes the camera unusable, as I make online videos of myself talking with camera around two feet from my face. Setting this camera up the same way, my face was just a fuzzy blob, and there was nothing I could do to fix that except put the camera across the room and talk to it from a distance. Which is worthless to me. This camera is too good to be true, and I realized none of the video reviews actually show footage from the camera itself - just people talking ABOUT the camera. And recording those videos with much better cameras than this one. I had been looking for a camera I could use instead of my phone, but my phone camera is way better! Yikes.

I thought I had a bad Remote and gave this camera 1 Star. However, I have since resolved this issue. User error on my part, and changed this review to 5 stars. excellent little video camera that is now working for my intended use.

I would not recommend this camera. The audio and video do not sync up, even with the provided mic. I was also not able to connect my external mic to record audio. Update 04/14/25: After working with customer service, we learned that we probably received a malfunctioning camera, and they were swift and attentive with giving us a refund! Great to work with overall for the issue that came up. Updating our review to reflect this.

Returning immediately. This is not a good camera for YouTube or TikTok - or any other recording that requires sound. The playback on the sound is AWFUL. The video camera portion is pretty good. I have no problem with the picture quality, but as I bought this for making YouTube and TikTok videos, I will be returning ASAP. The sound quality reminds me of my dad's CB radio from the 1970s.

Excellent picture quality sound quality is also amazing. Easy to use and set up. The design is sleek comfortable in your hand. Definitely recommend 10 out of 10. These are making a comeback.

Perhaps my expectations were too high, but I was very disappointed by this camcorder and don't understand the flood of 5-star reviews. My goal was to get a cheap camcorder to record my kids' choir concerts so I could use my DSLR camera for stills. Yes, the price is great. However, both the video and audio quality were much lower than I expected. I couldn't tell any difference in video quality between 1080p and 2.7K. If you keep a tripod shoe attached, you cannot access the SD card because the shoe keeps the door closed. The external mic wouldn't tighten properly into the slot atop the camcorder because the thumb screw wasn't seated properly. I returned this camcorder and continued using my DSLR camera with external mic for higher-quality video.
