Comfort family feasting recipes, perfect for seasonal eating. Review: Finally a he releases a cookbook - I was a little hesitant of this because he said that if he was to release a cookbook it would have to be something regular people could could out of everyday. This worried me because this usually end up creating unexciting cookbooks. I was pleasantly surprised however because this cookbook is glorious. Fun, new, exciting, bold cooking. And a few of the dishes are from his non Michelin starred restaurant. Can’t wait to visit Cornwall to eat there Review: For the Love of Food is exactly what the title promises — a heartfelt celebration of cooking, ingredients, and the joy of sharing good food. Paul Ainsworth’s passion shines through every page, making this cookbook feel both inspiring and genuinely welcoming. The recipes strike a brilliant balance between restaurant-level flavour and home-cook practicality. They’re thoughtfully explained, encouraging without being intimidating, and clearly rooted in a deep respect for seasonal produce and classic techniques. Whether it’s comfort food or something more refined, every dish feels purposeful and full of care. What really sets this book apart is its warmth. This isn’t just a collection of recipes; it’s a reflection of Paul’s journey, his love for food, and his desire to help others cook with confidence and enjoyment. The writing is engaging, the photography is beautiful, and the food feels achievable yet special. A fantastic cookbook for anyone who loves cooking — whether you’re building confidence in the kitchen or looking for inspiration from a chef who cooks with heart as much as skill. Highly recommended.

I was pleasantly surpised when I received this book. I didn't know who Paul Ainsworth was but I do now. He is a great chef and his recipes in this book are doable for pretty much most people. Easy to follow instructions, great photography. Love it...

Excellent book. I have bought this book for a friend who loves different recipes with fish and other seafood. The book is very well illustrated and the recipes are put together in a way to make them easy to follow.
