Nice rig for your Gat, BUT it just needs minor tweak.
This holster is only a tweak way from 5 Stars. When you wear it tight, against your bare skin, it has a rough, sharp, unfinished area at the top by the hammer that alarmingly digs/slices/pinches into your skin.Even worse, It feels like it is you are getting a unwanted tummy tuck when you sit down. If you wear a thick tucked in shirt it is not too bad. But with a thin T it still bites when you least expect it.Most of the time I wear mine with shirts untucked so my Heaters stay concealed. For the record I am not some morbidly obease dude with fat rolls overhanging my belt getting lacerations. I am 5.11 weighing in at 145lbs.So the fix is using a nail file on the offending area. It takes only a few minutes. Leather working note: The fixed area also should be burnished. The fix works well. But it does make the area slightly discolored. No big deal, but on a holster this nice I should not have to do all that.Oh, for the record it would take years for this to break in and wear smooth naturally, if even. Plus you may have a trip in there to the ER for wound closure or worse a unwanted bowel resection. So my point is, there is no excuse for the builder skipping this very important step in the fit and finish arena.Otherwise, the holster holds the Sig P238 Machine Gun perfectly. It is snug and secured and stays in place. The molding is done well and I had no fitment issues.I would likely buy one of these holsters again. I also would not have any reservations in recommending this to friends or family. I would help them fix the slicer issue. So that way they don't think they have Freddy Krueger holstering thier piece.Other than this slightly disappointing oversight It is a nice rig for the money.Time will tell how the leather coloring and stitching holds up. Based on a uneducated guess, I postulate it will hold up for years or until the Zombie outbreak.Other observation: The leather is thinner than say a Galco rig for a full size pistol. Reality is you don't need 5mm thick hide to tame the beastly P238 Assult Pistol on your belt. So the thinner leather actually works smartly.Cheers

Great OWB Leather Holster for Kimber Micro.9 with Laser grips
I give it 5⭐️ because it is a decent holster for the money. Most of all, for designing a leather OWB holster to accommodate my Kimber Micro 9 Desert Tan with laser grips. Sits high, tight and concealable with a pull over sweater.

A CAVEAT !
Have always favored Winthrop holsters for their value & craftmanship. Have, now, 5 for various handguns. Recently received one for my Glock 26, which, after 1 week of the various break-in methods, would not "conform". The problem was that it was cut too tight around the trigger guard. I contacted them, stating the problem to which they assured me that I could get a full refund (wanted another, actually). So, figured, ok, return this while ordering another. They, after acknowledging that I could return it, said that I HAVE TO PAY RETURN POSTAGE ! Seriously ? Where/how is that customer service ? Anyway, be fore-warned. Greatly disappointed, especially after 5 holsters that they could not nor would not absorb the return shipping as most established companies would and should.

Quality holster. Very comfortable feel and price.
After a day's worth of use, I really like this holster. So, here a few more details: The holster arrives in a plastic bag with a Winthrop sticker and instructions on how to loosen the leather of the holster by wrapping the gun in the bag and then inserting and retracting it. Yep, that worked well. Got the retention to chill out a little bit as it comes really grippy. There is no retention screw here and I don't foresee that being a problem long term. The leather is nice and the holster looks and feels well constructed. I've worn it the whole day at the 4:00 position and it's been comfortable even as it hasn't yet broken in. The cant is pretty good. I'd prefer a two-hole cant option like my DaSantis speed scabbard, but I can easily deal with this. With a rigid carry belt, it angles nicely toward the "side corner" of my back, sitting nice and snug, and really makes the gun ultra concealable for an OWB holster. Of course, the size of the gun is the larger factor there, but still. I put on a thin (fabric thin) and fairly slim zip up fleece to check the print and nobody would ever know it's there--even while bending and flexing a little.I'm very happy with this purchase. I did a faster delivery on it and it got here two days before the "Amazon date" range. There aren't a whole lot of options for OWB carry of this gun with the laser grip. So, don't overthink it. Just click and buy.

Follow the instructions, and then some.
I really like this holster. Follow the break-in procedure, but don't use their bag unless you want your gun to get wet, as the factory bag has holes in it. I got the holster good and damp, put my gun in a quart sized Ziploc bag, and stuffed it in there. Left it near a heat register for a half-hour or so, and it was good to go. I then repeated the process, and pulled the belt loops inwards a little bit, I tied it around a 2-liter bottle, not tight, just enough to give it a bit of curve. I then let it dry again. Turned out wonderful, with zero break-in required. Very comfortable. I like it enough that I'm considering another for a different gun. Good stitching, cut and shaped well, with the final fitting done to your convenience.

Budget friendly contender for CC
I usually grab a cheap Fobus to start with for CC until I decide what I'm looking for in a holster. I work a lot outdoors here in the South, so IWB was out. Kydex has sharper edges (IMO), and therefore is susceptible to printing more. These decisions left me with OWB and leather in a high and tight configuration. Hello Amazon and Winthrop! This well built little holster was slightly tight when new, but broke-in great. The high ride and forward cant keeps it from peeking out while the inside shield is easy on the skin. It's easy to wear all day, even with my little "muffin top" (sounds better than fat!). Carrying at 3 o'clock, it's barely noticeable getting in, out, or sitting in many different vehicles.I think anyone would have a difficult time finding a better EDC holster in this price range that will carry so well.I'm so happy with this holster, I ordered one for another larger CC pistol.
