Perfect for hyper tuning telescope mount!
Hypertuning my Celestron AVX telescope mount has been on my "to do" list for quite some time. After recent purchase of a dedicated astro camera it became a necessity.Polar alignment is much more critical now. I also purchased an ASIair Pro control module, which has it's own computerized polar alignment routine, using the camera, and plate solving down to 1 arc second. This precision is beyond the normal mechanical capabilities of the mount for visual use. I have seen other teflon sheets without the self adhesive capability, which if used, would have made my modifications much more difficult. I spent about an hour, cutting and fitting the necessary pieces that would eliminate any metal to metal contact along with the resulting friction in both azimuth and declination control surfaces. The end result was a super smooth movement in these critical areas, that could be felt as soon as I moved the adjustment knobs and bolts.Due to the cloudy weather, I haven't set up the scope yet for a trial run, but expect to within the next few days. I will post a continuation of this review with final results. So far, just going by "feel", I'm extremily pleased. I will add that the self adhesive is extremely strong. I wiped all application surfaces with alcohol to make sure a good bond was achieved. For those of you who may need a similar application, this is the material that should be used, and the self adhesive makes it a real winner! UPDATE 01/10/2021: I finally had a clear night this past week, and set everything up in the late afternoon, awaiting clear dark skies.Once it got dark enough I ran the focus routine for the main camera, then went straight into the polar alignment process.Once the mount auto rotated 60 degrees in RA, it was time to manually adjust azimuth and declination. This is done by watching a star that the camera is capturing in live view on a tablet screen, and adjusting until the star is in the center of an onscreen "bullseye".As the image refreshes every few seconds, readouts are updated in Arc minutes and seconds. Previously when the adjustments were close, the metal to metal contact caused the star to overshoot the center of the target. Now it is very smooth and precise. I was able to center with total error of 3 arc seconds in less than 4 minutes, when before it would take 15 minutes or longer with repetitive fiddling. With the colder weather, it's nice to get back indoors sooner, and watch the images sent wirelessly to my various devices in comfort. This easy mod was well worth it, and the self adhesive teflon sheet is the way to go! Worth 10 stars!

EXCELLENT!!!!!
I love that you can cut the sheet to the exact size you need. It is an excellent product. I have put it on all my dance shoes! It even works beautifully on wood dance floors! Very slippery at first but I rough it up on the sidewalk and it works perfectly on all surfaces. No more knee or ankle pain!!! i spin like a ballerina! I have bought it over and over again to put on all my dance shoes.

Mouse Glides Like New!
Two of my favorite mice lost their glide pads. They are old models and nobody makes replacement pads for them. I bought a sheet of Teflon with 3M adhesive backing from Soles2Dance. Using the original pads as guides, I cut replacement pads using heavy kitchen scissors. They are not pretty, but they work perfectly. The 3M adhesive is very aggressive and I am confident the new pads are going to stay where they belong.

Reduce the friction between tripod and mount
If you want to "HYPERTUNE" your tripod or telescope mount, this kind of Teflon sheet really is useful as it reduces the friction you normally encounter. Use scissors or acarpet knife to cut his sheet to size and glue it to the top of your tripod or the bottom of the telescope mount. With this in place, the adjustments during polar-alignment are much smoother -- usually you only need a 6x6" piece and a single order can be used to upgrade 4 tripods / telescopes.Compared to the many expensive gadgets, this or similar Teflon-sheets are a bargain.

Great product. Strong adhesive.
This stuff is fantastic. I used it on our gate where the bottom of the gate contacts the post as it closes. It always made a racket when it closed and often stuck when it was opening. I filed the post down a bit and applied this Teflon sheet. It has been on for a few weeks now and it solved both problems. The gate opens and closes without a sound. Also, I don't have to worry about the contact area rusting as have did in the past. I am sure this has many more standard uses, but it sure worked for me. The adhesive is super strong. I applied it around a 90 degree bend (square pole) and it is still as solid as ever.

Works great on concrete - perfect for covid era outdoor dance
I bought this for doing outdoor dance classes during covid. I use it for Zumba, hip hop, dancehall etc. It works well on both a basketball court and a rougher parking lot surface. The parking lot really tore them up and it only lasted 2 classes, but still 100% worth it. Traction is similar to my Bloch dance sneakers. I would not be able to do these classes with normal sneakers - even one class was so painful trying to turn on concrete. They last longer if you put them only on the flat part of the sneaker. I can do my shoes 5-6 times with one sheet. A bit expensive over time but better than the alternative of not going to the classes at all!

this stuff is extremely handy.
I use this stuff for all kinds of things. slides on wooden drawer rails, replacement feet on electronics, even used a hole punch to punch out circle to stick on the bottom of a mouse.the applications are endless. I even put some on the top of a 5x3x1" steel bench block to use as a non marring anvil for knocking pins out of pew pew slides and frames.great stuff.
