Works well

I bought several other similar products with good reviews from Amazon, but they were not able to clear the clog from my narrow bathtub drain. This one is the first one that worked.That being said, it's not perfect. I wish it would be longer to get farther down in the drain. The handle falls off easily. It's somewhat expensive relative to other similar products and considering that it doesn't seem to have been made from expensive materials.Nevertheless, it brought up gobs of hair from my bathtub drain; whereas, the others I tried couldn't. So, I can't really complain.Incidentally, one tip I would like to share: When I first tried to get the thing down the drain, it was blocked. But by flipping the drain stopper lever up and down, I was able to get it into position so that it could go all the way down into the drainpipe.

I’ve spent a lot of money on liquid drain products over the years with little success. This inexpensive and simple gadget makes my bathroom sinks drain like new and takes less than five minutes.Just push the plastic leader down the drain, turn the attached handle a few turns, and then pull out the plastic line with all the clogged “gunk”. The instructions explains how to clean the device. These rods are so cheap that I’ll dispose of the dirty one and just buy replacements. An extra flex rod is already included.Wayne B.Lexington, SC

The product description says 20 inches but the product I received said 18 inches. That said, it worked better than I expected. Even though it does say the snake attachments are one use I had hopes that they might be able to be cleaned and re-used. I suppose it may be possible to clean one but not easily. I think it should be priced lower based on the quality of the material.

These work so great for clearing a drain. Put it together jam it in and give a couple twists pull it out and you have a rat tail of hair. If you clean it well you may be able to get a couple uses out of each line but that is why they sell replacements, they get pretty gross and are difficult to reuse multiple times. I highly recommend for houses with long hair that clog the shower. Worth the cost compared to plumber or backed up drains. Use this before going to something like drain-o

Was easy to assemble. Easy to use. And worked great! It even scrubs the inside of the pipes with its bristles, getting all the smelly stuff off! Only downfall is it’s a one time use as no hair is coming off of this thing! But good news they send two bristle sticks with it! I’d buy again!

I have never gotten this thing to work on my bathroom drains or be anything more than another ASOTV novelty. Time to repurpose it for my fish tanks. What a waste of money.

This is a really handy tool to help clear clogged drains. It's a shame that it can't be cleaned as it has to be binned after being used. It's pretty long and our drains aren't that deep so only around half of its overall length is used so it feels like we waste it every time we bin it but it's just not feasible to clean it as the little spikes make the hair and dirt cling to it. The handle is great though as it makes it much easier to spin the wire to grab the blockage in the drain. Overall, would definitely recommend.
