Accurasee AccuClip, Copy Holder for Artists

In desparation I bought this doohicky because it was needed. Now it is nicely built but a bit short for its purpose, maybe one more link would be helpful. It does not hold well onto any surface. I have attempted to us gripping type of material which barely works. I cannot say not to buy it. If you really need a clip to hold a picture close it just manages to do this. The clips need to be much stronger. the clip holding the picture you are working from cannot bear much weight. If you get it expect to make a cardboard like material to affix the picture too. I used a heavy watercolor sheet the same size as the 8x9. This keeps the picture from floping around. I bought it in desperation. If I were not desparate I could make one far better than this which I intend to do when the weather warms up here.

Superb! I purchased this as a substitute for a Get-A Grip picture clip for holding photos/art on the canvas itself or easel (and bookstand), that I'd bought decades ago, which has broken. I needed a decent replacement, but couldn't find one. I stumbled upon this & I'm grateful as well as impressed how clever it's well made! I love the design as much as it flexibility for positioning the photo/artwork. I highly recommend this for it has many movable kinks to adjust for better angles (like an adjustable arm). Plus there are two clips (one for photo/artwork) the other for gripping the side of the canvas/easel/table bookstand for proper stability. As an artist who paints in oils, I couldn't be without it! I bought these as replacements for a kit I had previously puchsed. These 2 pieces seem to 'disappear' easily at art school. I know, right? It's a mystery. The copy holder has changes that I wasn't expecting. It seems more sturdy than the last one but it has lost some of its flexibility because of these improvements. Not a big deal. Both items meet quality expectations.

This product is perhaps more than anyone could need for hanging a photo from an artist's easel as a model for a painting. It works well if you have a small enough place to clamp it. I use it, but find that a more simple hanger does just as well.

Have been using a clip & proportional divider for several years and am very happy with them. This purchase is a gift for a young artist.

Excellent item for all manner of uses needing adjustable clip holder. Wife uses it constantly when painting to hold reference work at just the right place and angle on easel, or table. Quality construction, clamp is strong, joint action is smooth, fair price for excellent product.

It's a real useful tool for me.To paint, I fix the clip on the top of my canvas and attach a sheet of paper to the other piece. I just have to raise a little my head to see my model.
