Great gift from Santa
Our son asked Santa to bring him this toy for Christmas last year and when I first saw it thought Santa had to improve his Elve's quality of work. If I would have written this review the first day I saw it I would have given it maybe 2 stars it seemed cheap for the price but now after a year of wear from my rough 5 year old son it is amazingly durable and one of his favorite bath toys. Thank you Santa

Finn is FUN!
Great toy for kids who don't constantly destroy their stuff. It's not fragile, but too much misuse will end in a broken toy. If your child values their stuff, and takes moderate care with Finn, you will find it a great toy! Especially in the bath. (Down side - There are lots of little pieces to take on and off, ... so get a ziploc bag or something to keep them in). If your child loves Finn, ... this is pretty cool.

My son loves this toy (capital L - O - V - E)
My 3.5 year old asked for this toy from Santa and I thought it looked fun. Right up until Christmas my little sweetheart obsessively watched YouTube videos on the iPad regarding this toy - reviews, how-tos, you name it! With all the hype I was worried it would disappoint. It did not! My son adores it! Some notes - this is a well-made plastic car. It has a number of pieces that are challenging for small fingers to put on, but this in itself is an important skill for small children to learn, and this toy motivates Finn McMissile fans to learn to do it themselves. The car transforms from a standard car to a hydrofoil, a submarine and a spy-car... Very very cool! I do wish it came with a carrying case to keep all the gadgets in, but it really was worth every penny.

Finn McMissile
I purchased this toy for my 3 year old grandson but it was almost immediately taken over by his 5 year old brother who enjoys taking everything apart and putting it back together again. The 3 year old is a big Cars fan so he loved the toy. My main concern is the number of pieces that can be lost when the car is disassembled. The parts also require a fair amount of strength to take apart and to put together. This would probably be a better toy for a 5 to 6 year old than a 3 year old although he does love it.

Pretty bad.
My four year old son received this as a gift. Starting with the Olympic feat of getting it out of its package up to forty-five minutes later when it is almost already forgotten, this toy is just bad. The concept is solid...take apart and put back together in fun configurations. As usual, though, with most of the movie tie-in toys, the execution is a disaster. Plain and simple, the parts are so difficult to remove and put on, even the adults in the house were becoming frustrated. The recipient was in tears and ultimately said, "Mom,I think this might be a junk toy." Out of the mouths of babes.

Bad toy, not for older children
My son, who is over 10 years old, wrote the following review after purchasing this product: The reason why I do not like this product is because the pieces are hard to put on, hard to pull off, low quality stickers, and false advertisement. The company shows it as an awesome toy, racing over water, even going underwater, and then in tiny print it says NOT A WATER TOY. One last thing: costs way too much money! I`m only going to buy this toy for children six and under, from now on!

Great toy
This is a great toy. My four year old had a little trouble assembling at first but now has the hang of it. Very durable. Good price. Not sure why the review asks for my opinion on its educational value...I guess it works on fine motor skills. But lets get real people. Stop trying to make all toys into something "educational". Lets let four year olds be four year olds and let them learn from playing.

A hit.
I got this cheap at Christmas, and not much was expected of it. Wouldn't you know that now, 9 months later, he still runs around the house with this little car, making it into a submarine and laughing?! What a bargain. This toy is lightweight. It's not especially well-made- just alright. It's just a plastic car with little parts that come off. Sometimes it surprises me what things are a "hit". I would have to recommend this toy for young boys.
