Great board
Everyone knocks this board online and blames it for cooking AMD 9800x3d chips. Even though it could easily be an AMD issue. I have this exact setup and it's been fine for the past 6-months. I sim race in VR with maxed settings, so it's resource demanding for long period. I am conservative with overclocking though. I love all the board features and ports. The wifi module works great. This was my first computer build and it was a straightforward process.

Great MB at a great price.
I needed to upgrade my Intel 8th gen to AMD 9800x3D and shopped for a MB. Although I’ve never used ASRock, I’ve heard good things. I’m glad to say, I’m not disappointed. It works perfectly and allows me to use 6000MHz DRAM without issues. RGB software can be glitchy but not a huge issue. WiFi works great with or without external antenna.

Affordable and is still working perfectly.
This was part of my first gaming PC build. It seemed intimidating but worked out fine with the guidance of ScatterVolt and his $1000 S-Tier Gaming PC Build for 2026 on YouTube. It went together perfectly and I've been gaming on it for about 6 months without issue. Pretty affordable and works great.

Just No.
It cannot play nicely with newer AMD CPUs and will potentially ruin them. This had to be returned almost immediately when it turned out ASRock hadn’t even updated their BIOS to even attempt compatibility. Just stick to the more reputable brands.
