Headliner Magic - Flat Knit Style Auto Headliners - 18 Colors (2340 - Clear Gray)

To begin I contacted for samples but actually spoke w/a 3rd party receptionist; follow up never happened. I went ahead with an order. The color is fine but the fabric is subpar. My 2 yards of fabric had a snag, a run and a greasy hand print. Unfortunately I was ready to finish my headboard so I used it. Due to the defects I wasn't able to center the headboard on the fabric, which negatively affected my finished job. Adding insult this fabric is grossly overpriced and I found a better company, Albright's Supply. Their website has a bigger selection for half the cost per yard. It's too late for me, but fortunately not you!

Nice fabric; snazzier than the stock stuff on my VW. However, Headliner Magic does offer more fabrics at different price points if you go direct to them, albeit without free shipping. Something might be worth checking into depending on your needs. They were very responsive to the questions I asked as well, so I would continue doing business with them. Just a note, my car had a sunroof and you need to get the fabric up into the opening (which was easy), then up, over and around the lip of the frame that goes around the opening (not easy). When I asked later, they said technique is a big deal, but the easiest fabric for doing stuff like that is their suede, which is more stretchy. Considering you don't really have a second chance without a whole lot of extra work, I think I might try that on my other sunroof car. Without a sunroof it would've been a piece of cake to upholster.

Re-upholstered my 99 Audi a4 with black headliner material for the headliner, Sunroof Slider, and a&c pillar trim. Called headliner magic to make sure the delivery was going to make it before the weekend and he made sure it got on the FedEx truck instead of USPS which is always slower. He also gave me some pointers on laying this stuff down. 5 yards was enough to start completely over after making an unrecoverable mistake 70% of the way through the headliner and have enough to do a third headliner probably. I will be ordering again when I do my truck!

Ordered two yards of headliner material. Order was late and got lost in mail, excellent seller shipped the material again at no charge and no questions asked upon being notified! once received the material was good quality and color was spot on. I wish every company had customer service like this! Don't look other places just buy from them.
