This is for 1 pound of pure brown clay dirt chunks with multi colored clay pieces through out the clay chunks. It's very dry, yet a little crumbly due to the various raw clay pieces in it. Some of the clay pieces running through it are kaolin, but some are just red, yellow, orange, and brown raw clay that are not kaolin.

Dirt not clay
I ordered this for my mom and she didn't like it at all. The bag was only half full with what looked like crumbled up dirt from a backyard. She will stick with the Georgia white clay from now on.

My favorite
This is my favorite. Any other clay, I'm just settling on. This is the only one that actually satisfies my earthy cravings. This is for those that want some grit. I'm surprised the rating is low on here. I usually buy this on Etsy and it has great reviews on there for those that like grit. It always sells out quickly. I only gave this four stars instead of five because sometimes this product is not at it's best. This last time it was more clay like and less grit like. When the clay is natural, it varies.

Nasty and disgusting
It tasted nasty. I don't know what that white pasty stuff that is mixed with the so call earth. It moisty. Shame on the seller. It seems like wet chalk mixed with a little dirt.

Multi Textured
This clay has very little flavor. But, it does taste clean. What I liked were the multi textures. The majority of it melts in your mouth when you bite into it. Few and far between are crunchier pieces. In about equal amounts to those are pieces too hard to chew. I liked that I would have residual crunchy pieces I could find in my mouth to munch on for several minutes after I had stopped eating.

One Star
No where near as good as the Kaolin clay chunks

It doesn't look like the picture when it reaches you and it's just like a regular dirt that was dug up and sold just a bunch of dirt grit all through I just threw mines away this wasn't good at all to me

Yum!!
My item arrived earlier than expected. The bag was full of chunks. The taste is very earthy and there is no crunch. I do like the grit but be careful of the small pebbles mixed in. You can really hurt your teeth.

Yummy to my tummy!... minus the hard rocks...
I finished it in one month. Its definitely a taste that has to grow on you... The first week of eating it, i didnt really like it so much.. But then the following week i caught myself craving it. Now i eat it everyday. Its so good. I love the way it smells and how it first starts off dry and then it starts to melt in your mouth after a few seconds of sucking.. I like to suck the dirt because that way i am able to feel for the rocks before biting down on it and cracking a tooth! Yes its packed with rocks but the flavor and texture of the clay makes it all worth wild:)
