Encrypted Flash Drive,DualAxon Password Protected Flash Drive Adopting Hardware Encryption Digital Keypad Metal Shell(16GB)

I really like this flash drive. It is easy to use and I feel secure having it on my desk at work. I know my information is protected even if it is lost or stolen. That gives me great peace of mind. I will definitely be getting more of these.

It worked when I received it yesterday. When it arrived, I charged it for 2 hours then programmed my password into it. I opened it several times with the password and it worked each time. To make sure it was fully charged, I plugged it into my computer (Windows 7) overnight to make sure the blue light stopped blinking - indicating a full charge. This morning when I tried it - the password did not work anymore.I tried to reset the password and let it wipe my data, but that isn't possible with this device. You have to email the manufacturer with the serial number from the device to get a "dynamic password" that allows you to reset the password without losing your information. Problem is that this process can take a week or more before you get the password. I only had the device for 24 hours and this didn't give me confidence that it was reliable.I was contacted today by the vendor and was told that I should plug in the flash drive no more than 2 hours to charge. If this information is important it should be in the manual that came with the drive. Then before I could get a reset code, I had to send my purchase information to them first. That is fine, but they never said what information specifically. This is not a quick and easy reset for something that didn't work the day after I purchased it.Thanks to Amazon, I sent it back for a refund. I will find a different solution for my passwords.

I love the drive, good storage and durable. However, it beeps as you enter the passcode and it's a little obnoxious if you're working in a library or quiet setting.

UPDATE: DualAxon contacted me very quickly after the complaint and replaced my defective device free of charge. The newer build seems to be more sturdy.Original:1 month after purchasing this device, it stopped mounting. It no longer shows up anywhere on MacOS, not even in disk utilities, and on Windows it shows up as a drive without a disk. I've lost a couple of gigs of data that wasn't stored anywhere else with the idea of keeping it secure as a result of this malfunction. The keypad still functions, and the LEDs light up as they should when the correct code is entered, it just wont mount. Extremely displeased.

Open the package and try it out. Thank you for such a good thing. I have no problem in using it. I need to introduce it to my friends

This thing is state of the art. It’s super well made. The craftsmanship is phenomenal. It’s solid all the way through. The instructions are very easily explained. The code can be your choice and anywhere between 6-14 digits. It’s a work of art.

The drive works well, however, the back side fell off after using it only a couple times. The back is aluminum sheet metal that was glued to the frame. The circuit board/battery is now exposed since the backing will not stay on

I experienced a problem with both of my DualAxon drives. Hoping to recover my data, I emailed for assistance to the email address indicated in the "User's Manual". No response after over a Month. Both drives appear to ‘UNLOCK’, but my PC (same as previously used to store the information) cannot access either Flash Drive: I receive a “USB device not recognized” error message.Can you assist in retrieving my information? I though, perhaps, that resetting the Flash Drives to ‘initial state’ would allow access a as standard (non-password protected) USB Flash Drive.
