6 Inch Dark Brown Wood Easel Plate Stand

It's nice, but as other reviews said the varnish has drips and covers the hinges. Not a big deal as the item covers it up, but not the best quality either.

The four plate stands I ordered are the size, shape, and color I expected from the picture. The one aspect of the stands that has been disappointing is the quality of the varnish finish. The stain covers the hinges and has not been sanded smooth. Perhaps it was simply sprayed on. I am, however, keeping the stands. Only a very small area of the wood is visible when a plate is placed on the stand. The finish and style blends in well with my traditional furniture, and no one but I will ever know how cruddy the hinges look.

I was expecting solid wood that was stained with the grain showing. However, these are made of MDF (medium-density fiberboard) so they are just okay. It seems that all stands like this are made of MDF now. Everyone is skimping to save money. The stands do they are supposed to do, so they are okay.

The arrival of the plate stand was great, came earlier then expected. In very good condition and looks exactly as I expected it to look.

I like this plate stands a bit over priced for what you get. I forgot I purchased these and bought 6 others when I was at the Christmas Tree Shop and paid about 1/2 the price and they are just a well made and look just as nice.

Pretty and do what they're meant to do. Perfect size to hold up a dinner-sized plate.

Fits my plate very nicely and the wood is very pretty ... a medium stain. also, it is very sturdy.

This was a disappointment. The finish is awful - gloppy varnish covering the whole thing, including hinges. Looks nothing like the picture. Quality control is apparently nonexistent.
