Awesome tool; convenient
This has become my go-to circular saw guide for quick cross cuts. No setup time at all and very safe. Lightweight but solid build quality. The straight edge is also good for drawing lines. And the ruler is very handy to quickly doublecheck short lengths without having to pull out the tape measure. I just leave it hanging on a peg for a quick grab and cut. Easy to wipe/shake off dust from the cut. A very practical invention.

Great Tool For Homeowner
I built a large trellis with the Bora tool plus a 20V Porter Cable hand saw. It is extremely helpful and made the project fun and accurate. Love this tool. You must use it with caution, and it is possible to run your circular saw blade onto the tool if you are not careful in your stroke.

This works great, but it is bigger than expected.
I do really like this product. It helps get me a nice straight cut every time. And it makes cutting a lot quicker. The only negative thing I will say is that this product is a lot bigger than I expected. It is difficult and a bit awkward to hold in one hand. Sometimes I have to use a clamp to hold it depending on the angle. Other than that, I would still recommend this to anyone that wants to cut straight edges every time.

Could be better
I thought it would be nice easier and more accurate to use. I was using a track saw for accurate cuts and wanted something smaller for small cuts. The product is confusing and will move on you, ruining the accuracy. Flimsy and cheap. It had some kind of self clamping that might have made it worth it. Now I just use it as a straight edge

a good idea that could have been better executed
A speed square will guide a 90 or 45 degree cut as well or better than this tool, so the reason to purchase it is for 22.5 and 60 degree cuts. I bought it for the 22.5 degree cut, the angle for rafters in a 5:12 roof pitch. But the tool is not very good for that acute angle because of the way it is designed. When you hold the plastic ledge of the orange handle flush against the edge of a 2x board, the metal straight-edge doesn't make contact with the face of the board but hovers above it about 4mm. As a result of this lack of contact, the guide can tip forward and rotate on the rounded edge of the 2x board, loosing its purchase on the edge of the board. The lip on the metal ruler needs to be 4mm longer so it makes contact with the board, to keep the guide from rotating on the board edge. See photo. But with a clamp of the proper size and strength, the Bora guide should work OK even for that acute angle. Several of my clamps didn't quite fit, inlcuding the very strong Jorgensen 6-inch E-Z Hold. A small Irwin Quick-Grip did fit but it's not really strong enough to keep the Bora guide firmly in place when using a heavy worm-drive saw. Be prepared to find a suitable clamp if you intend to use the Bora guide at 22.5 degrees.

La poignée est un peu légère au niveau de la qualité du plastique et lorsqu'on modifie la position de celle-ci sur un autre bord, les rainures ne s'ajustent pas correctement. A voir à l'usage...
