Dumbo Halfmoon Betta - Live Aquarium Tropical Fish

Someday my fish will come…It took a good while for the fish to arrive. I must admit I was concerned by some of the other reviews that the fish would not “arrive alive”.It was a very hot and sunny Georgia late June day when he finally arrived,The delivery person apparently did not see/or care that the bright orange sticker on the box the said “Live Fish”. The packaging was exemplary, but the packaging was placed in front of the garage in the blaring sun. The very hottest place on our property.The Berra was in a double bag in a box and looked a bit half alive. I quick placed him in his new habitat which had been awaiting his arrival. It took a bit, but Jack Sparrow is slowly acclimated, and is now changing from a whitish color to a lovely blue.I would purchase another betta from this seller, even when arrived in a shocked state, he still looked better than the fish I saw at PetSmart.

Excellent very fast shipping my fish arrived healthy happy little bit of loss of color, but he perked up immediately when I set him in the pre-prepared tank and was super hungry and ate within minutesImpressed with this seller!

Fish arrived alive... but was not red... I searched for a red betta and this popped up... it arrived definitely not red and not worth the 20+bucks but I let them know it was alive and not red they said we'll we only guarantee live delivery and that they "try" to do color accommodations apon request.. no where did I read that prior to placing the order... but the fish is ALIVE and is now thriving...

The media could not be loaded. Was really of wary about ordering a live fish online but went for it because couldn’t find what I wanted in the pet stores. Seller was awesome. I ordered and messaged him right away about what I was looking for(lighter betta with yellow or orange.) Seller responded right literally five minutes later. After it was shipped(They ship on Mondays so if say you order on a Thursday they preorder the shipping label which Amazon update will say that it’s “in shipping” but in reality he won’t ship until Monday so your fish isn’t just going through the mail for 6 days) I got the betta in three days. Shipped Monday received Thursday. Fish was fine. Sealed and packed well. He was pale white which happens when a fish is stressed but two weeks later he’s vibrant purple, blue and a pale yellow. Totally would buy again from seller.

The fish, Fizz, is absolutely beautiful, now. It took 10 days for him to get to us and I was sure he’d be dead. He was still alive and FREEZING!! The water was at 69 degrees when he got to me! I’m honestly surprised he’s ok... I left him in his bag and let his water warm up to 80 degrees (the temperature of his fish tank) and his body went from a pale yellow to more of a sparkle blue. Once he was finally in his tank, he was SO happy and absolutely beautiful!! He’s active and eats when it’s feeding time. I would repurchase, I’d just be hesitant due to the long shipping time.*UPDATE* Fizz just died today, so he lasted almost exactly 2 years. He was active and a fun fish up until this last 2 weeks. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend purchasing a fish from this company (as I’ve just ordered a new one since he passed). Any fish I’ve ever gotten from a pet store only lasts 6 months to a year and they were never as full of personality as he was. Fizz was with us for almost 2 full years and absolutely beautiful the entire time! I would highly recommend purchasing if you’re hesitant!

I just got my beautiful boy in today. He is gorgeous and looks healthy so far. He is staying in one corner if the tank but I’m sure he is just a little stressed. The inside packaging of the box he came in was pretty good. His little bag was pretty snug in there, but I would of liked to see him have a little more water. Though he came safely, I don’t like the outside of the package. There was only one label on the top and it said “live snails”. Unfortunately his package come in upside down so the mail carriers were unable to see that a live animal was inside. Also ignore my dead plant that I will soon be removing.Overall I have had a great experience with the seller. I put a request in when I ordered my betta and they were quick to respond.

To sum it up, I ordered red and received blue, the bio didn't say random color, so what's up with that? He's in shock and not moving around much, but appears healthy. I guess arriving a live counts, I am a bit disappointed.

Well, what more can I say? He arrived from California to Florida and then sat in my deck box on the porch until around 8 pm when I got home. It's the next day and he is alive and swimming around. What happens from here is anyone's guess but I am impressed and happy with the packaging and the live fish. I did not realize that I could specify a color so I go an almost white fish but the fins are very full and pretty.
