KERCO Carbon Fiberglass Adjustable Travel Stand-Up Paddle SUP

I researched a ton before buying this. It's by far the cheapest light carbon paddle available. Be aware of which color you choose because they are made of different material combinations and that affects the weight. I was actually disappointed when I received it at home because it didn't feel much lighter than the aluminum paddle that came with my isup. However, I took it to the lake this weekend and it was so light while I was out on the water that it felt like it wanted to get blown away by the wind! So I'm a happy camper (or paddler).

The Fiberglass reinforced nylon blade is really more an easily bendable plastic. I recently broke my paddle after dropping it off a second story and thought this might be a nice replacement. I'm wrong. I'll keep it for my kids paddle board but I can't use it. This would be a great $30 product.

Just what I was looking for in an inexpensive travel paddle (3 piece) I had left my carbon fiber travel paddle on the beach while on vacation in Hawaii and Amazon Prime came to the rescue. I got my paddle in about 5 days but I still had 10 days of vacay to go. Not as light as a carbon fiber paddle but less weight than aluminum. Feels sturdy and well built. Perfect for roadtrips.

This paddle is very light- I definitely love that about it. This paddle does have, what seems to me, a unique method for adjusting the length. It uses something similar to a bike seat clamp. This allows "infinite" adjustment points, which could be helpful. However, since the adjustment method does use a pin of any sort, the handle and paddle may become misaligned. I resolved this by laying the paddle on my board, which creates a flat surface for each end to align to. For me, this won't be an issue as I'll be the only user, and don't need to disassemble regularly (if ever) to put in my car, etc. However, this should be noted as a design aspect, that could affect your use of the paddle. I wouldn't consider it a pro or a con, just something a little different and was unexpected. It could certainly be converted to another method if needed. For the price, this is overall a very nice product. If I have any issue with it in future, I'll update this review...

Nice paddle. Only minor complaint it was hard to tighten up so handle didn't slide when using. I couldn't get to tighten without something other than my fingers to grip it, so had to do at home making it harder to adjust when out on the water.

Awful. Poor quality and broke after first use. I'm just upset I can't return because I'm outside the window. I guess it serves as a reminder, buy and immediately try.

This is a great SUP paddle w/o the high price tag. For the price point through Amazon, you cannot beat it. I looked at this same paddle at a very reputable outfitter store and it was twice the cost. This is replacing one I bought through a big-box sporting goods store that lasted only 1 summer. Highly recommend. I am a real person. This was a real purchase with no promotion and/or did not receive anything for this review.

Paddle blade itself isn't very stiff. Fine for beginners but anyone with more than beginner skill will be disappointed. Blade wobbles when paddling with anything other than very light force.
