Worked as expected and with no issues after running my camera for over two hours. Much less expensive than the Nikon branded one and (even more importantly) could arrive quicker. Just realize you don't have any battery in while you are using this - your camera goes out if you unplug this. It is great for use when you are not walking around with the camera and don't want to have to change out the battery for charging.

This is the only way so far I have found to shoot long videos with my Nikon 5200. The only thing to warn people is actually not a problem from this adapter, but from the camera itself: long video shooting makes the camera run very, very hot! Take precautions on how to keep it cool!

Purchased this A/C battery adapter to use with my Nikon D3400 for a video project so I didn't have to worry about swapping batteries in the middle of an interview. Adapter works great and I was able to record with no problems for a total of 3 hours with maybe a 15 minute break somewhere in the middle.

Kinda expensive, but works with my D5200 Just wish there was a firmware update so this thing would record video longer than 30min. D5100 has a firmware hack, but d5200 has no such thing :(

Long enough, no power instability. It's hard to mess this up but they certainly haven't here.

When plugged into power outlet, there was a small spark thrown. That and the green light on the block were the only signs of life. Did not power up the camera. Returning to Amazon.
