Q: I am running windows 10, and am unable to connect with 2 different cables. Anyone have a link to one that works?

PLCs don’t really output currents. You use a power source, run it through the outputs, to your device (solenoid) and then back to the power source’s negative (or neutral). These outputs are just dry contacts (or transistors, depending on the exact model.) They will easily handle 1A @ 12VDC
