My husband and I are both musicians. However, the different is he plays in a band for weddings, clubs, etc. There are times that he has difficulty seeing his music when the venues are dark. We have used book lights, but they aren't really bright. He hates wearing reading glasses in public, so bright lights help him to see the notes better. He was incredibly excited to see this when it arrived (it was supposed to be a present...SURPRISE!). He actually just received notice that he is playing a venue next week (last minute) and can't wait to use this. The clip fits perfectly to any stand and it isn't too heavy where it can cause it to topple over. The light can be charged with an outlet or USB. This is great because if he forgets to charge it before a gig, he can use to USB into the laptop (during breaks) and give it a quick charge to make it through the night. The lights are bright but white, not yellow.

These lights solved my problem. I had just completed a very large model with a detailed interior but could not get the interior well lit. I had tried several different lights that were not satisfactory. Then I saw these on Amazon and ordered two of them. I mounted them on the underside of the shelf and used the long goosenecks to run them up to the model and with several different tries at positioning them I was able to illuminate not only the exterior of the model but also all of the interior detail. The length of the lighting heads allowed just two of these to light up the entire 55 inch long model and the dimmable feature allows for low lighting when I don't want the full brightness. All the features of the lights work just as advertised.

For the price, these lights are a good buy.The wall-mount design freed up space on the bedside tables. Installation was a breeze. Operation is easy and fun; the lights turn on and off, and dim with a simple touch of a finger on the light's head. Bright enough to read by. The wire is thin and easy to conceal.

Pros: Small footprint; mounts easily anywhere; variable brightness; great 'touch' control; lots of options for positioning.Cons: Needs way to reduce light surface or mask (still shines on other person in bed); comes on at full brightness after power failure (should default to 'off'). I'm putting foil tape on the lens area to narrow the beam's field.Still the best in-bed reading light we've encountered over the decades.

Excellent Quality very minimalist downward directed light, flat silver in color, 14" - 16" gooseneck stays put tightly and is infinitely adjustable, very bright on high and very dim on low, built-in dimmer infinitely adjustable - cycles low-high-low etc., super long power adapter cord with a very small quick- disconnect located in the middle of it making it easy to route power cable behind walls (etc), Color temp is accurate at 4000 Kelvin (daylight - very nice). In completely dark room - lights up my entire 48" wide under hutch desk nicely in the middle (24") with the last 12" on each side mostly lighted - mounted it on the wall so my desk area is not cluttered by a huge desk lamp base ( big smiles ); however, is not a replacement for a 60W equivalent light, would work as a dedicated wall reading light for any vertical or overhead mounting application. The 110v wall adapter's output is 12V, so would directly work in both a boat or trailer, surface mount - 2 screws or 2 minute install after you find your battery drill/driver. $30 - what's not to like.

This little lights are awesome. They light up just by touching them, and not just turn on, they dim on and off, looks really nice.If you leave your finger in the on/off sensor it starts to dim more bright or less bright in a circle form, up and down. And it remembers where you left it!Another thing I like is the low profile of the mounting base. It is also super well made, the metal flexible tube thing is strongly attached to the base, so even if you install it horizontally it is rigid enough to hold the position.It is made out of metal all around with a nice mate grey finish. I love this things (I bought two). It's so cool to turn them on! I even sit down and turn them on just for the fun of it, really lolAnd last, the power supply can power up to three at a time! So I have a spear power supply since I power both with just one.Only downer is the high price, but the dim effect and the sensor button does it for me!

Drill and countersink two 5/32 holes 26mm apart into a 2-inch round disk of 1/4-inch plexiglass (eBay). Insert 1 1/4 inch 6-32 flathead screws with washers and wingnuts. Check alignment and glue to any plastic surface with JB Weld ClearWeld 5-minute epoxy (HomeDepot). Lamp now mounts on screws and is removable. I mounted to the back of my Bernina/Juki serger on the plug side above the label. Makes threading and sewing SO much easier. Photos attached.

I purchased two of these to mount on the wall by the headboard of my bed. They are perfect for reading in bed and I can adjust the proximity or the brightness of each lamp individually to illuminate the room or to prevent from waking my partner. I use them every night and I love their convenience and adaptability. I use their light indirectly by pointing towards the sloping ceiling over my bed. While the light is very cool, it is very pleasant and easy on the eyes. I like the fact that these lamps generate no heat and I don't worry if they make contact with the wall or the bed linen. They respond well and consistently to a light touch. In addition, I like the fact that I can connect them both to one outlet.I have deducted one star for the problems I have with one of the lamps turning itself on at random times and for the thin power connections that seem rather tenuous at times. Nonetheless, I like the lamps very much and would buy another in a heartbeat if needed.
