This FastCap Zero Clearance Tape is one of those simple upgrades that makes a big difference. I applied it to my DeWalt miter saw, and it gives me cleaner, splinter-free cuts every time. The PVC material is durable and sticks well without peeling up, even after a lot of use. Installation was easy — just align, stick, and trim with a sharp blade. It’s held up great and makes lining up cuts more accurate too. Tip: Clean your saw surface with alcohol first so the tape adheres properly. Excellent quality and a must-have for anyone who wants precise, clean cuts from their miter saw.

This is my first time trying zero clearance tape. I wasn't sure what to expect but I've been really impressed with the results I'm getting. The tape is sturdy and the adhesive sticks securely to the saw while remaining easy to reposition (before using it, of course) without leaving any residue. It is exactly what I was hoping for.

Only takes a minute to prep the surface, Cut to size and apply the tape. It works pretty good as a zero clearance insert and is easily replaced once it is damaged. Only complaint is that there is a fair amount of chip out on the first cut through the tape and then some additional after each cut. It seems to be a little too brittle. The price is fair for something that will need to be replaced sooner rather than later depending on how often you use your miter saw. Once I use this batch I will reorder.

I have an older craftsman table saw and finding a zero clearance plate for it is impossible. At some point I'll make one when my skills get better. For now, this tape fits my needs and does exactly as intended. It allows me to cut thinner parts and reduce bottom tear-out on the material. Easy to trim and apply yet seems heavy enough to last a while between changes. Once I get my miter saw I'll be adding it to that as well. Application involved cleaning the plate with mineral spirits to remove an old label, followed by rubbing denatured alcohol to remove any residue, and carefully placing the tape with the blade lowered all the way down. Then clamping a section of 2x4 over the tape, turning on the saw, and SLOWLY raising the blade to full height to create the slot in the tape. The cuts I've made so far have been clean and the tape is adhering well. I would buy this again.

The FastCap Zero as featured on YouTub and it peaked my interest. Once I received the order, I applied a strip to my sliding compound miter saw and the improvement in the thin kerf cut was great. Very easy to apply. Great product.

I saw this on a YouTube video. I have been wanting something for my chop saw. Well to my surprise, the thickness is perfect, easy to install and feels durable. I have made many cuts and this is still staying down and not peeling up. You get 5 pieces and I feel the value for the money is totally worth it. I wish I would have found this sooner. Now i am able to cut small items with the additional support.

Works FANTASTIC for reducing tear out on my mitre saw. Easy to apply. One note ... it's good they come as a set of multiple as I did an angled cut and opened up the zero clearance (woops). But easily fitted another one.
