And I mean great! It’s huge! I managed to fall and twist both ankles. I needed a commode in the bedroom and, after much crying and gnashing of teeth, admitted the embarrassing fact and started searching for one. Would you believe there wasn’t one available at midnight on a Friday night? So, Amazon to the rescue.I wanted one that could be moved, had rails to push up from, and allowed room for clean up. This one seemed to fit the bill. When it arrived, we were stunned by the size. It’s huge! I thought about returning it because it’s so big, but I needed it now, so my husband assembled it quick and easily. Very easy assembly. The seat is comfortable. Okay, I mean comfortable place to sit It works great for my 5’8” self. I use it for not only the obvious but also getting dressed. I can sit at a comfortable height, in a stable seat and move around enough to change clothes.I forgot to add a positive comment about the handrails. The arm rest has a very nice sized arm/handand rails. They are a piece of molded plastic added to the top of the arm piece. They are larger than any other any other that I have seen or owned with finger molding on the outside. They are very handy because of a large size and very comfortable. Make the arm piece just a little taller a little little easier to grab hold of. If nothing else, this is outstanding reason to buy this commode.Two years of heavy use is pretty good. I’m very happy with this purchase and recommend it.

We had bought one of these about five years ago, back then it was a good buy and has stood the test of time. Recently we needed another one, so I ordered one, it was at my house 23 hours after ordering !!! After unboxing the assembly was a breeze, so easy a child could do it. Like our previous unit it seems to be well built and is a steal compared to medical store prices.

Needed a commode that had a bench style and removable or drop-down arms so that my elderly father could slide onto it with a slide board. It works perfectly for this! It is sturdy and the height is adjustable. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the knob to pull that drops the arm down is extremely difficult to manage for my mother. I might try to lubtricate the knob and see if this helps.

Excellent product

The chair was delivered super fast, assembled in less than 5 minutes, very sturdy, it has a little weight to it to hold it in place, pail is easily removed, and the arms drop down so you can slide in place with no hassle. We are extremely happy with this chair. I had purchased the Amazon Choice chair with excellent reviews and found out it wasn’t going to work for my spouse which is an amputee. It wasn’t sturdy and I was afraid the chair would flip over while trying to sit down. I researched more chairs and decided to try this one I am so glad I bought this chair, worth every penny.

good thing was the swing arms, easy to transfer off the hospital bed onto this, it was sturdy enough for a big guy like me. The downside is the hole that you sit over, it is way too small especially for a big guy like me, the hole was like the size for a kid, I don't know how anybody uses the bathroom on this thing without making a mess on the floor all in all it was a good price, just not a big enough hole for big folks who have a big rear end

It’s a great potty chair for big and tall people! I’m 5’9 it’s still a little tall but I would still choose this one over any other because the arms come complete ly off if need! I took time but I can wiggle over from my bed if no one is here to help me!

This is a great product, strong, well made, easy to assemble. Wish I didn't have use it. But because I do need it I think it us a great product. I am 6'1" and 390 lbs and use with legs in tallest position. I have had for 3 months and can see it lasting for many years due to the quality and sturdiness. Manufacturer did a great job on this bed side toilet chair.
