Strong, Easy to Install and Use
This is well made and very easy to install. I had Schlage door knob and lock and it fit perfectly. One thing I noticed is it might be safer to hook a link over the little 'finger' to reduce the chain length (see my photo - and I know I need to touch up the paint, that's my next todo.) The screws I took out were about 3/4" long and the new ones are 2 inches - much stronger. My wife liked this right away when I installed it.

Better nights sleep knowing this will reinforce my door
So far its working well, a very minor hassle but worth it.Also, when opening doors I don't have to worry about someone barging in.I also keep a small windchime on my doorknob as well.Took 2 minutes to install. Really good product.

Easy instal
Took me literally two minutes to instal this and it’s the easiest thing to use. But my 2 year old loves playing with it. Other then that there’s absolutely nothing I would say bad about this product

is the hinged strike plate the weak point?
These seem like they will hold up well. I've bought a total of 8 of these now for my own home as well as family. They would get five stars if the construction was more consistent. The door strike plate piece and hinged 'wing' specifically is very tight and secure on some but very floppy and seems easy to compromise on others. This makes me question the durability/strength of the hinge point; could it be significantly weaker than my four 4" screws holding the plate?

Security!
I love the way it allows me to answer my front door with some peace of mind. It doesn't allow a lot of room when you open the door (the chain is pretty short) but the more chain, the more leverage someone has to kick in the door. The screws are long which also adds to the security.

Excellent!
Installation takes only a moment of time, but the added security lasts. Seriously, look up the video of a guy trying to kick open a door equipped with one of these.

Entry doors need additional locks. Depending on where you live on.
Great for indoors for sure. I have issues with a stalker and I have to use the strongest protection out there. This used in combo with other things is good because you can open the door a little w/o putting yourself at risk. For an entry door nowadays, multiple locks are needed especially for flip locks. This is a good one. But evil people figure out how to beat ones like this. Always use multiple protection.
