Face Brushes

Aveda sells a brush identical to this for over $40. It’s main benefit is to increase blood circulation in the face and decrease saggy skin with daily dry skin massaging. The bristles are meant to be as fine and soft as cat hair to avoid pulling and tugging on the skin when doing a dry skin massage on the face every morning. I add a little grape seed oil to my face and gently massage it in with the brush every morning to wake up my skin!!

my skin has been SOOO clear since using this, the only breakouts i have are during that particular week or so during my cycle. with the help of this brush, they’re gone in about 24 hours.i use this brush with african black soap, and keep it clean with antibacterial soap between uses. it gets into your pores, and since using this i haven’t had to put up with those terrible drug store exfoliators that damage your pores. I hang it to dry. i follow up with vitamin c serum (also use it as a primer for makeup) and a green tea moisturizer that i will sometimes pair with tea tree oil. Give this brush a try, the results will wow you!

I could not find my original review (maybe I forgot to give one), but wanted to give my thoughts after 4-5 months of use. I almost use this every day to clean my face and its still holding up well. The bristles are really soft so it doesn't irritate my skin, but it still feels like it gives a deep cleaning. I love the shape of the handle as it makes it very easy to hold, but still very portable.

You’re going to get this brush and think to yourself, there’s no way something this soft can clean my face. I use harsh toner, face scrubs, etc. to get makeup residue off my face every few days. Similar to using clarifying shampoo once a week. I worry about how harsh those products are on my skin. Then I got this brush, so soft that it feels like chinchilla fur, and I almost sent it back without using it. Luckily I gave it a shot. This thing leaves my face squeaky clean with my usual gental Neutrogena face wash. I was happily surprised. Going to buy two more, one for a friend with ultra sensitive skin and another for my Mom whose skin is delicate. Not sure how well it will hold up but so far so good for a couple of times a week for a month.

I like this brush.. but I'm not totally in love with it. It works, and it is super soft, but I don't really feel that it gets my face that much cleaner then anything else I've used. Folks aren't kidding either when they say it takes forever and a then some to dry. I squeeze as much water as I can out of it, then hang it to try and it still takes 24+ hours to dry back out.

You don't need a $50 electric face brush. This one is amazing. In search of closing up my huge pores I found this brush and it works. I pick at my face way less now because the brush gets everything out of my pores so thank you. I know picking is bad and can leave scars. I use it every time I wash my face and it never dries it out

I love this product so much! The bristles are incredibly soft and dense, my skin feels so soft after each use!However, before I was able to use it the first time, the soft end fell out. I wasn’t able to secure it back into the handle. Is this supposed to come out? I have still been able to use it but it’s not inconvenient as it’s in two pieces. This would have been a total 5 star review if it wasn’t for that!

I remember, when I ordered the Epicurean Beauty Cleaning Brush, wondering why they had a version with black bristles. When I got it, I thought it was exactly what I was looking for. 10 days later, I thought the white bristles looked a bit gray. Then, I developed blemishes on my neck and cheeks. The brush was looking a bit darker and started to smell mildew. I was extremely careful to rinse it after use and to use the cord to hang it to dry. I stopped using the brush and disposed of it. Within 48 hours, the blemishes disappeared. I was very disappointed. I think the version with the black bristles can disguise the problem.
