Great festive fun
Great advent calender! I haven't had an advent calender since I was a youngin but this is my favorite that I ever remember having or seeing. Injoyes putting it together with my girlfriend and sharing the chocolates with her. It looks nice sitting on my window seal, it became my little Christmas village since I have no others. Very cute with nice colors. The chocolate isn't through best out there but definitely isn't the worst. It's not bad. Worth the money and will definitely buy again

Yummy, Fun Activity for the Kids!!!
This was such a cute, fun activity for the kids to build instead of the traditional advent calendar. The chocolates were so much better than the cheap junk they try and feed our kids nowadays. I only have one complaint. I ordered two of these advent calendars. One of them came in perfect condition. But in the other one all the chocolates slid down out of the little compartments so on some days you would get double/triple chocolates. And on other days you would get none :(

Cool and a little different.
After years of flat, square advent calendars, coming across this on on Amazon intrigued me. How does it go together? Where are the chocolates? Well it turns out the calendar part itself is still pretty square, but at least it's not flat! The roof of the house is where the chocolates are contained. It bends in the middle and there is a little slot in it to fit over the chimney. The instructions aren't much to go on, just a few pictures, but it isn't hard to figure out. Especially when you realize the cutout people that come with it don't really have a place they are supposed to go, just side decorations/toys. Some glue is handy to help keep the roof from popping up, but honestly it isn't a big hindrance. There are perforations on the house itself, so it can have doors and windows I'm guessing, so it works as a calendar and, afterwards, a toy! It is bright, cute, detailed and the chocolate isn't that bad either (I've had worse in my calendars in years past). Well worth the price you will pay for it.I have video of me opening it and trying to figure it out, hopefully Amazon will let me link it. I should warn you, I might have a bit of a dirty mouth as I try to put it together. ;D (http://youtu.be/HDX_KXH9Oyo)

I thought this was going to be more stable and have the chocolates around the house. It comes packaged flat and you have to build it, which is super simple if you don't worry about the taping and gluing. The chocolates just come in a package for the roof. The chocolate was fine.

Cute
Easy to assemble. Only took a few minutes. I attached the roof with some tape for it to stick to the house. The little chocolate pieces are in the roof. The 4 figures that can be positioned outside or inside the house fall over easily. My kids love to open doors as a countdown to Christmas. The little one (1.5 yrs) doesn't quite understand yet why she can only have 1 piece of chocolate from the calendar per day.

Chocolate is delicious!
The chocolate is fantastic. The house isn't what I was expecting. But, after looking at it, it does look exactly like the pictures. The advent chocolate pieces are in the roof portion. The animals are propped up around the house. It took awhile to be delivered, not vendor's fault.

Chocolate fell to bottom
Upon receiving, all the chocolate had shifted & fallen to the bottom. So there was nothing behind the windows once opened - no chocolate surprise. ☹

It is a wonderful twist on the standard disposable advent calendar
It is a wonderful twist on the standard disposable advent calendar. It's not difficult to figure out how it goes together (ignore the instructions and just follow the very simple drawings). It did require a bit of gluing to keep it together (which is what I took a star off for), but it wasn't that big of a deal. I'll definitely buy it again and highly recommend it to others.
