10/10
My new wheelset just came in and I am utterly and completely satisfied! They are lightweight, durable, and look totally awesome on my bike. I definitely recommend you buy Pure Fix Cycles Wheelsets.

Low-grade China badge-job, garbage axle
Low-grade badge-job: the wheels are probably not unsafe but quality of build and materials is poor even by cut-rate Asia import standards. Plan to replace the axle sooner rather than later because the criminally soft threads will deform and freeze the nuts; in fact, save yourself some time and just add the axle to your order now. Typical of badge-jobbers Pure Fix will not know what size axle their bikes or wheels use, but they will happily waste your time and money with bad guesses - let's skip that: it's is engineered and built in China, thus it's a 10x1 metric. Two stars instead of one because the wheels are probably safe.

Very frustrating.
I keep having problems with PureFix wheelsets. One of the wheels in the first wheelset I purchased (which were the wheels that came with the bike frame and everything else) was, accordingly to a bike shop owner, “shaped irregularly. It was too narrow of a dip which put too much stress on the tube causing the tube to rupture.” I kept on trying to offset this problem by putting strips of old tubes (since I had a ton of popped tubes as a result of using these tubes) in, but these only temporarily fixed the problem and always resulting in my tubes popping within a couple days. I even messaged the PureFix company, but they never emailed me back about a solution. Finally, a bike owner told me to just buy a new wheelset and so I did.I bought these hoping I just got a defective first pair. These have a different shape from the first pair of PureFix wheels I’ve bought. They’re not as narrow as the first pair. I thought this would fix the problem, but unfortunately another problem arose since I’ve had more flat tubes since installing these. That problem according to a bike shop worker was that “The puncture of your rear tube appears to be due to a sharp edge of the plastic rim strip in the wheel.” To fix this, the bike shop worker put a rubber rim strip to protect the tube from this sharp edge. It’s unfortunate that I’ve gone through close to 15 tubes trying to fix the problem with these wheels. Maybe I’ve just gotten unlucky with the wheelsets I’ve gotten because others (based on reviews of the wheelsets and bikes) don’t seem to have problems with their PureFix wheels. Since the rubber strip was installed, I haven’t had any problems. These wheels are really attractive looking though, so make sure you’re willing to risk getting a bad set of wheels if you buy these.I wish PureFix had better customer service because this has been a really frustrating ordeal.

They look amazing and are very high quality
I got these wheels for a "reverse steer" bike I built to raise money for charity. They look amazing and are very high quality! I was pleased to see that they do not have the logo on them that is pictured (no offense to Pure Fixie). Thanks!

Sharp riding = more discovery. these wheel make it all happen.
So i had a little doubt at first, but after a little research, i made the decision and bought these wheels, they awesome. But i mad one mistake. With the option of--> NEW @ $130. And--> Return package, Like new @ $110. I went with RETURN. Silly of me. The rear wheel had a bad nipple which means loose spoke/ untrue wheel/ cost to fix--> $20. Now 110+20=130.. Plus time to drive to the bike shop. Lesson learn, being cheap at the moment can cost more in the future... The wheels are lightweight, ride very firm and quite.. Overall, so far am happy with them.. If i had done my research in the single speed cycle world before buying one and then having to upgrade the wheels. I would of bought a complete package from you PURE FIX. the variety you offer ROCKS! I'll be coming straight to you next time.

Overall great purchase, Purefix seems to never dissapoint
I was a little skeptical about choosing the gold color way since I assumed it would be very flashy. The gold is very subtle which makes a black bike frame stand out just enough while looking as sleek as it could possible be. Both wheel sets were plastic wrapped in a big box to prevent any dents or scratches to the item. Overall great purchase, Purefix seems to never dissapoint.

Looked cool, didn't fit.
I liked the way these wheels looked, but I had to return them because they didn't fit my 1979 single speed road bike.

Tube stem holes didn't line up!
I had to drill a hole in the front rim because the hole for the inner tube stem did not line up at all. Not sure how this made it off the factory floor and passed inspection or especially how no one noticed while the rim tape was applied. Luckily I had power tools to work with. This cost me time and an inner tube trying to fix which is unacceptable for the price paid.

There was a very annoying scraping sound coming from the rear wheel whenever it ...
I had a 125mm rear spacing and this fit perfectly. There was a very annoying scraping sound coming from the rear wheel whenever it turned. It turned out to be metal shavings inside the wheel well. Fortunately I was able to fish it out of the valve holes. My front forks were too narrow to fit the axle. Fortunately they were steel and I was able to grind 1mm off to make it fit. Wheels are straight and true. Beatiful finish!

Serían realmente 2 estrellas 1/2
Los rines llegaron golpeados de algunas partes de las orillas además de que no son como se muestran en la imagen, no cuentan con la marca blanca de pure fix sobre la pared del rin

Don't waste your money.
Waste of money. Bought these in Oct 2017. Installed them July 2018. One of the wheels is not aligned. Disappointing.. I thought its my frame but when I took it to a bike shop they said its the wheel..Thanks for wasting my 175 bucks...
