I would highly recommend this gate for pet lovers! I have this installed at our master bedroom and it was very easy overall! It's the perfect size to stop my two lab mixes and they don't bother to try and jump over it or even jump up on it to lean!! The cats just breeze in and out as they please to their food and litter box and there is no worry that I'll have to go back and check on them or the amount of food!Sturdiness is great the gate is very well made as I have bumped it several times with myself and laundry baskets.Putting it together was the worst part of this gate. The instructions aren't as clear as they should be about the small pet gate. After opening the package I thought the spring peg for the small pet gate was broken and therefore, didn't install it for several days! It was by chance that I figured it out when I picked up both ends of the peg and pulled it apart! I then realized this peg is adjustable by loosening it to adjust it for the pet gate. I wish the instructions were clearer on this, however, I figured it out.I would still highly recommend this gate works great!!

It is pretty good. I had wanted to keep a big dog out but let smaller dogs through. My smaller dogs didn’t fit.☹️ It would work great for cats or tiny dogs. It is a good deal

This product is excellent. And, I plan on purchasing another one because of that reason. My only regret is, that I didn't buy it sooner. It was easy to set up. It does its job of blocking my Husky from getting to the cat litter box area. Yet, it allows my cats too easily access the litter box area, through the cat door. And, I can freely move around the house, without having to move obstacles out of the way. It's a win, win, win.

I bought this because my son is starting to get around the house now. It is in front of the entrance to my stairs and I needed the door for my cats to access their food/litter box area. I'm very pleased with how tall it is and it appears to be impossible for a little one to climb. I'm 5'2 and it comes up to just below my chest. The metal work is study and functional. Pictured is a standard size doorway. The only reason I took off a stair is because of a few scratches it came with and a couple of the corner caps are damaged slightly. Also the handle feels a bit cheap but does the job. All in all, I would recommend to anyone with kids and pets.

The instructions for assembly and installation that came with this gate are the best I’ve seen in any item! I’m not particularly handy and was concerned I’d have to find help to put the gate together and get it installed. But, despite being 68 years old, it really was not that hard. Each step is clear, with helpful details highlighted in inset drawings. All you need is a drill (or maybe just a Phillips screwdriver if you’re stronger than me), a pencil to mark locations for attaching, and a little patience.Once in place, the gate is very secure and the walk-through door operates easily with one hand. The one thing I wish was designed differently is the cat gate inset in the gate. It does open easily, however it doesn’t fold back flat against the main gate or have a way to secure it in the open position. As I will never use it closed, I tried to see if the small door could be removed. It can’t. So I ended up using a bungee cord to keep it fixed in the open position. (And covering the bungee with aluminum foil, to keep my chew-happy dog from working on it!). Having the little door sticking out is less than ideal, but given the overall quality, it’s not enough to deduct a star for it.I would recommend this product.

Like many other reviewers, we feed Cat in a separate room to keep Dog from stealing his food. We didn't want a permanent solution since we're planning to change rooms around, so previously, we'd had a removable baby gate in the doorway, leaving a few inches of space beneath for Cat. My husband and I begrudgingly stepped over the gate to get in and out. But when our elderly parent came to housesit, we realized stepping over the gate was no longer an option. I ordered this and got it in a day, and then had to quickly install it before we left for vacation. I was still hectically cleaning and packing when I realized I still hadn't put this up.It took less than 10 minutes to put together and fit into the door. I was so relieved. Both Cat and Grandpa can easily get through, and Dog hasn't even bothered trying to use it. (Dog is old...stronger dog could probably get this gate down.) When we decide which room to use permanently, it will be a breeze to screw into place, but it works great even without the screws. The only drawback for me is that the gate is not spring loaded to close automatically, as I've had with previous gates. I have to remember to close it, which is an ongoing battle.Bottom line: it's not perfect for everyone (i.e., Strong Dog families), but it is pretty close to perfect for us.

es una puerta con una fácil instalación, se puede fijar a la pared pero para mi es mas útil ajustarla con las herramientas que tiene y ajusta con fuerza no hay duda, y me funciono para mi perrito chihuahua así que la distancia entre barrotes son la esperada

Tenemos 2 gatitos, madre e hijo, desde hace mas de un año y medio. Hace dos meses adoptamos a un husky abandonado de 8 meses de edad, sin entrenamiento de impulsos. Intentamos su integración a la familia por un mes sin éxito, después adquirimos la puerta. Fue la herramienta esencial para lograr que todos puedan convivir en un mismo espacio, ya que pudieron conocerse sin hacerse daño ni asustarse a través de los barandales. Ahora, después de solo un mes, la puerta no es necesaria en los momentos que los estamos supervisando y muy útil para los momentos que estamos fuera de casa. 5/5

La armamos y en ese momento nos percatamos que no daba laMedida, quedo pequeña, y para regresarla no pudimos desarmarla por completo elAjuste de la puerta y la base una vez insertado no se puede sacar.

Me gusto la uso para mantener a mi perro en el cuarto.
