INNOVATIVE TOOLS INC 24" Hang It Perfect

Ok. But I found it a bit awkward to use. I was looking for something to use with those little picture hanger hooks that have a hook with a little nail going through them, and my frames are new with 1 place to hang from in the middle of the back of the frame. I was also looking to hang up rows of pictures under others and the extended parts get in the way of the row of pictures above the tool. However in this tools defense, I have not found any tool yet to help me do what I am looking to do, which is to line up several rows of picture frames not all the same size and have them look nice. Husband says I need to do it the old fashioned way with a tape measure. But I am not that handy or coordinated. I need a third hand, and better math skills. I do have 2 sizes of tape measures that are what you call centering tapes that you read the measurement of your area on the top of the tape measure then the bottom reading gives you the center measure, but I still need a 3rd hand. If you are not so clumsy as I am, that kind of tape measure might be a better option for you, and they also make a ruler that is made the same way. ☺

It worked as well as I had hoped and was a pleasure to use. We had to hang multiple pictures at the same height. I set the tool such that the two hooks would be four inches below the top of the frame, 8 inches apart. Then I tensioned the picture wire around the hooks, with the picture lying upside down on a table. After that, measuring the hooks was very easy. We didn't use the tool for the actual measuring on the wall, although that should have worked, too, as shown in the very helpful YouTube video. The method we chose should allow us to switch pictures. The tool is made of plastic, reasonably built for its purpose.

Very hard to do alone. Instructions are minimal and was hard to figure how to space pictures a certain inch apart. Boxed it back up to ship. a level and yardstick is much cheaper and easier to use.

I have tried to come up with various shop made tools over the years to try to make the tricky spacing and positioning for hanging pictures easier. The Hang it Perfect is probably a much better choice and great time saver. I will most likely buy the larger size as well.

not matter how many times I measure and level I can never hang a shelf or picture straight...Until I got this gadget. I have hung numerous things and they are all straight and level!!! I recommend this to any hanging pictures or small shelves up.

It helped me place pictures in a good distance and level on the hall. It would and I am going to use it over and over again.

Does not come with any instructions. How is one supposed to use it? Am going to return the item.
