Modifiable for Tight Fits
First of all, many thanks to the first review that suggested adapting two of these to accommodate tight fits. Genius idea!We have an extremely tight space and I'd looked everywhere for something that would allow for a sturdy mount while also looking clean and professional. Two of these and some tinkering is the best solution I was able to find.Connect the two skinny plates. The gasket will still fit. If you put the connection at the bottom then the bell will feel rock solid when people push it, but there will be a bit of the plate visible above the device. If you flip it then the plate won't be visible, but there will be a tiny give when someone pushes the button. Personal choice - I went with a cleaner look after trying out both ways.As you can see, these plates will provide about an inch of separation from the wall when using both front pieces. The skinny plates aren't made for mounting screws so you'll need to expand them a little. I used a 9/64 drill bit and wiggled it around a bit to enlarge. Worked perfectly for the mounting screws that come with the nest (they seemed a bit better than the ones that came with the bracket).Nothing else to it. Mounted great, very happy with how solid it feels and how clean it looks.

Just what I needed - With a modification
So sometimes you have to make modifications to make things work the way you want them to and think a little outside the box. That was the case here. We had a call box on our gate which never worked because of the distance to the house. I got the idea from Reddit to use a Nest Hello with a standard keypad at the gate. So that's what I did. Additionally, I installed another device that allows a "Hey Google" command to open the gate should I want to do that. So not only can we now open the gate while home, but we can also open from anywhere in the world. As far as this product is concerned I went to Home Depot and purchased aluminum stock, cut it and extended the camera out so that I could get a much larger angle on the camera beyond the 60 degree advertised. I'm at about a 100 degree angle.A recommendation to the creator of this would be to include a small piece of stock and extra bolt/nut so that anyone would be able to extend beyond the 60 degree advertised. Might give you a leg up over everyone else that's also at 60 degree max.

Works well
It does the job well and holds tightly. However, for a front door, it leaves too much hardware exposed behind the doorbell. It needs to try to make some kind of cover.

Very Nice Bracket
Used this to install an ADC-VDB770 doorbell camera from Alarm.com. The threaded holes in the doorbell mount-plate align perfectly with the ADC-VDB770 mounting holes. I did, however, need to purchase some metric, M4-.70 machine screws, as the screws that come with the bracket, meant for the Nest Hello, are not long enough. Be aware that the threads of the holes are metric and not U.S. Otherwise, I had an old, broken bamboo cutting board that I cut down to close to standard electrical wall-plate size to cover the old screw and wire holes in my brick wall. I then mounted this bracket to that piece of cutting board instead of directly to the wall. Works perfectly for me, and looks great too!Update: After a few days, we decided to replace the smaller, cut-down piece of broken cutting board with the larger piece. I did not cut this larger piece, but just sanded and sealed it. Too, we wanted to place a sign next to the ADC-VDB770. Pictures are of the completed installation.

POPMAS Nest Hello Adjustable Angle Mount from Ideals
POPMAS Nest Hello Adjustable Angle Mount from Ideals. Out of the box this is a sub-par item because the portion that attaches to the wall does not match the normal 2 hole design of American generic doorbells. However, the portion that attaches to Nest Hello is setup for generic American doorbells. After receiving 1, I decided to order a second one and switch the 4 hole plate with the 2 hole plate. I did not have to drill extra holes or fill old holes, making it a 5 star setup for me, but I did have to buy the item twice to get the correct plates :(

Nest solution for my needs
Let me first say I did not use/install this product as intended...The flat space where my doorbell hole is is less than 1.5 inches so I'm pretty limited on the space. Thankfully the way the nest hello is shaped it does fit with the included backing. So knowing this going in I purchased 2 of these and attached the pill shaped pieces to each other Screwing 1 in the door jamb and the other into the nest Hello and this worked perfectly for me. Prior to installing this my nest hello would pick up a good portion of brick on the right and door handle on the left side of the camera. Now there's not any brick or door handle in the frameThe installation was a bit more challenging but this isn't the manufacturers fault bc I'm using the product in a different way than intended in an extremely tight space but after fidgeting with it I got it working perfectly
