Size chart measurements (in inches) are way too small for adult hands! Are these gloves for children?

I went to a local store that sells many different kinds of gloves and tried on gloves until I felt like I knew what size I needed. I, then, ordered my gloves based on that finding. My new gloves fit perfect. I am a 60-year-old, chubby(240ish pounds), 5 feet 8inch tall man that looks like Santa Claus. Beard and all. Large sized gloves fit my hands quite snugly. So, "My" answer to your question is; Unless they(the children) are very big, no these gloves are not for children.

No there cheap U get what U pay for!

Will these last up to wheelchairchair pushing? My other ones last 2 weeks and they are frayed out and toast!

I'm buying my 3rd pair of these for wheelchair use. My 1st and 2nd pairs are still holding together after 6 months or more of use, each, though they don't hold up to the washing machine very well and my hands can get pretty sweaty so my other 2 pairs are starting to stink, even with Lysol and Febreze
