(Note: Algae growth is not guaranteed or warranted). DROP.6 dimensions: 3.25" wide x 5.5" tall x 2.75" thick front-to-back (8 cm wide x 14 cm tall x 7 cm thick). It requires at least 5" (13 cm) of water to operate in. Operates on both 120 and 240V. Can be shipped to any country (some may require import duties). Get the no-overflow advantage of an upflow scrubber: since it is ALL underwater, it can't overflow onto your floor like other scrubber designs often do. Finally an aquarium filter that offers drop-in installation in the smallest of spaces, along with reduction or elimination of water changes and nuisance algae. And it's small enough to drop into the back compartment of many all-in-one aquariums. It operates the way the oceans and lakes do, using algae to do all the filtering, and it truly can replace all other filters in your aquarium if sized and operated correctly. The DROP.6 grows well in saltwater with phosphate up to 0.2 ppm, and in freshwater with phosphate even higher. Strong injection-molded case! This DROP.6 drop-in algae scrubber has 14 square inches (87 square cm) of extremely rough Green Grabber one-sided algal growth surface which can grow up to 1/2" (1 cm) thick green hair algae in saltwater (thinner in freshwater). This is designed to absorb the nutrients from this much feeding per day: 0.6 Frozen cubes, or 6 Pinches of flake, or 6 Square inches (36 square cm) of nori, or 0.06 dry ounce (1.8 grams) of pellets. If you feed more than the above amounts, you can get multiple DROP.6 units. Positioning the DROP with 1/2 inch (1 cm) above your waterline will eliminate all bubbles. The DROP.6 is also dry-out proof, since it's always under water. Power outages will not affect it. Needs a small air pump, and a timer for the LED. The LED is a single red (660 nm) 3-watt LED, which is triple sealed in epoxy. Some red light does come out of the bottom holes, which fish associate with fresh algae to eat! Comes with a 6 month warranty.

Algae Harvester
This is a 4 star product in my opinion, but it can be modified it to make it 5 stars. The good - it'll grow algae and suck nutrients out of your tank. Things that need improvement - the rubber air hosing inside the device should be replaced with a molded acrylic pipe, with holes drilled in it for even air dispersion. My unit had flex tubing that sort of bent across the inside. That bend caused the little holes to clog, so only one spot had air flowing through, and it was not in an ideal spot. Easy fix. The second thing I would improve is to include a mounting magnet. If you're considering buying this, and I recommend it, do yourself a favor and buy some superglue and a Sure Grip 50 Magnet kit. It'll make this thing unmovable in your tank.

Not quite working yet, but i see a little green, could be chaeto.
I have this model. It is so-so made... It is like 100% better than the HOG model though, which feels like a plastic container you would get with a frozen meal or something. Very flimsy. Not saying that is necessarily bad, but this model is much thicker and rigid. I would get this one. I had both in my hands and guess which one I chose? I will say this. My live rock in the tank was like a neon green for months. About a month into putting this unit in... the green is disappearing and the rock is going white. Coralline is starting to show up everywhere. I also started dosing calcium. Not sure if that has anything to do with anything, but my chaeto slowly fizzled out after this thing was put in. I said goodbye to the last strands today. Lets see if this thing takes off.
