Uproot Clean Washing Machine Cleaning Tablets Ultra 40% Stronger, 24 Pack

These Uproot Ultra Clean Washing Machine Cleaning Tablets are amazing! I was a bit skeptical that they could remove the dog hair and grime from my front-loading washer, but they have made a believer out of me! I hate musty-smelling clothes, so I am diligent about cleaning the seal and running the cleaning cycle with an Affresh cleaning tablet once a month. However, it still had hair and grime trapped in the seal after the cleaning cycle, and by the second week, it always started smelling musty, even though I don't use fabric softeners or anything that would cause it to get dirty so quickly. After running one tablet of the Uproot Ultra, my machine was visibly cleaner, had no dog hair or grime still trapped in the seal, and actually smelled clean. It is now the second week and it STILL smells and looks cleaner compared to the same schedule as using the Affresh tabs. So, if you have long hair, dogs, cats, or furry children (LOL), you need these. They are a little pricey compared to the Affresh tabs, but totally worth it!

I started seeing ads for this on social media and the were compelling enough for me to give it a try. We have well water and it is hard water plus, two ragdoll cats and a dog. Our washer gets stinky regularly and the tablets I bought locally at the store kind of worked. Move used these Uproot clean tablets on two separate occasions over a couple of months and they work far better than the others I’ve tried. I will absolutely buy these again because for usC our water, and our pets, they work.

My laundry had started coming out of the washing machine with an unpleasant odor that I noticed as soon as I removed wet clothes, towels, or blankets. I was beginning to think it was time to replace the machine, but that just isn't in the budget. After doing some research online, I learned that detergent residue, grease, and grime can build up in parts of the washer you can't easily see. We live on a hobby farm and care for multiple dogs, cats, horses, sheep, goats, and a pet pig, and our 3 year old grandson also lives with us, so it's no exaggeration to say our washing machine handles a lot of heavily soiled laundry. I had occasionally used the washer's self-cleaning cycle, but it clearly wasn't enough to remove the hair and greasy buildup. After just one use of these tablets, the drum was sparkling clean. I'm sure the valves, pipes, and filter aren't completely clean after years of washing filthy farm laundry, and I did have to wipe away a fair amount of loosened grime from around the door seal. However, the bad smell is completely gone, and my clothes smell fresh again. It may be my imagination, but I think they look cleaner too. These Uproot cleaning tablets are incredibly easy to use and cost far less than repairing or replacing my washing machine. I plan to run another cleaning tablet through the washer next week before settling into a monthly maintenance routine. Based on my experience so far, these tablets really work for my front-load HE washer, and I appreciate that I don't have to worry about harming my septic system.

I purchased this and used it for the first time on July 16th. Have been using 1 tablet every two weeks like instructed. It is easy to use. Just open the packet and put it in the washing machine. Simple. It's a good size. Just about an inch or so. It's green color and looks fine to me. I haven't had any reactions to my skin. I do clean the machine after using it, as the instructions say to do. And then I do another rinse cycle just as a precaution. Seems safe so far. I bought this to remove the smell from my machine and because of the dog hair. It's not a magic tablet so you still have to clean your washing machine. The smell doesn't go away completely right away. That's why you need to keep up with using the tablets every two weeks.

This stuff is amazing! I have been using Afresh for a few years now. I thought my machine was nice and clean and smelled a little better. With Uproot, I ran it through the cleaning cycle on the machine. Wow! I couldn’t believe all the sludge and cat fur and human hair it got out and the musty odor is gone, not just covered up but you could still smell it gone, but really gone. There was a large wad of this yuck waiting to be wiped out. I ran a second one through, and it got some more of that sludge, fur and hair. It even got most of the black crud off the rubber seal. I’m sold! I will be giving away my boxes of Afresh. I have no desire to use that brand again, so long as I can keep purchasing Uproot. Excellent product that does what it says.

This cleaner for washing machines is spot on! Clean fresh washer. I often have to wash my dogs bedding and the smell afterwards in my washer is gross. These tabs clean it and gets rid of that nasty dog smell! Easy to use, just toss one in and either wash on the self cleaning cycle or a regular wash with hot water

I'm only leaving a review because I was on the fence about buying it... Well, it worked. The washing machine that I used it in was one I picked up in the side of the road. So I have no idea what it's history was, except there was a lot if dog hair on it/ in the back panel, etc. I use that machine to wash work rags, and pre-wash my work clothes before I bring them home (my wife doesn't want the work 'stuff' in the home machine without addressing them first). Initially the machine would leave lots of 'grit' on the clean laundry, even after drying them the grit still would be on the clean/ dry laundry. I ran 2 packs through a hot cycle, with 'deep fill' turned on. Probably 95% of the grit is gone. I can only assume it broke it down and washed it away. I'll run another 2 or 3 packets in another cycle and see if I get to 100% clean, but even for what it did, it's got me sold. I'll be using it on tenant machines going forward periodically too and before new tenants move in... they may not notice it, but for it's expense in time and money, I think it's worth it. 10/10 A++ Very happy customer.

So appreciate these tabs for maintaining our washer—especially with dog linens! Our washer is less than a year old. I recently figured out how to use the “Clean Cycle,” and that alone made a noticeable difference with the smell. For my first experience with these tabs, I used two based on the reviews, but will use only one moving forward. They didn’t produce the suds, particles, and grime removal shown in other reviews, but they did a great job overall, and I’ll definitely continue using the product. That said, I did have a few observations: • DOG HAIR - There was more dog hair than usual collected in the rubber door seal/trap, which I was happy to see because it made it easier to remove and clear out the drum. Perhaps the tabs helped by breaking down some of the oils and buildup I’ve read about. • GLASS DOOR OPENING - There was still a light film on the glass after the cycle. I normally clean the door as needed, but I intentionally left it to test the product’s efficiency. Some reviews showed a considerable difference in this area, but I didn’t see the same result and still had to wipe it down when it wasn’t even bad. • UNDER THE RUBBER DOOR SEAL - There was still some buildup underneath the rubber enclosure. So, while several reviews suggest the tabs remove buildup from all of the hidden or hard-to-reach areas, that’s not completely accurate based on my experience. See attached. Overall, I’m pleased with the product and will continue using it.
