Sacred Santal Vitamin C Body Oil

This body oil absorbs surprisingly well and leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized without a greasy residue. The fragrance is light and pleasant, making it easy to wear daily without being overpowering. The pump works smoothly and dispenses a good amount of product with each use, and I haven’t experienced any leaking issues. Application is quick and easy, and the bottle size offers a good amount of product for the price. Overall, it’s a great option if you’re looking for a body oil that feels good on the skin and is convenient to use.

Well, I am in love. This oil is light weight yet very hydrating. The scent is not overpowering but alluring, sexy, warm. It feels sensual on the skin. Easily dispensed by the pump. I am very pleased with the size of the bottle and with the quality of the oil, I believe it will last a longer time then the cheaper oils out there. So the cost is justified.

I absolutely love this body oil. Its so thick and moisturizing and they all smell amazing! Your skin will feel moisturized all day! It doesn't leave you feeling greasy all day, even with it's thickness it absorbs well. Love this oil!

I bought the Vanilla Verve bundle off their website forever ago, and was immediately hit with how similar to Bath & Body's Warm Vanilla Sugar/Vanilla Bean Noel it was. I was a little disappointed, I felt like for the price it should be a more unique scent. It's definitely more of a spicy gourmand, very pretty but felt too familiar. Sacred Santal is what I expected Vanilla Verve to be! It's soft, warm, elevated, and cozy. After using all the products in their lineup - skip the lotion. It's decent, sort of thin, absorbs well, but isn't anything special. The body wash is absolutely worth it. It suds up well, has a great scent, and is decently moisturizing. The body oil is 100% worth it. As soon as you turn the shower off, skip the towel-down and go to work with it. You'll use less of the product and get a nice glow and feel more moisturized. It's silky (not sticky), easy to appy, and absorbs quickly, so no worrying about your clothing or towels. It also makes a great hair oil and can be used as an oil perfume if dabbed on skin later in the day. My skin eats up scent, so I never expect it to last that long. I was surprised by the length of time I catch a bit of the base notes on my skin or clothes. The bottle is glass and has a nice weight. It looks pretty on your bathroom counter, doesn't leak, and has a great pump. tldr: buy the body oil and body wash, skip the lotion. Smells wonderful and does what it says it'll do.

What an amazing scented oil. Long lasting without being migraine inducing. I shower at night and feel certain I will smell this on my clothes the next day. It is warm and slightly spicy, and I totally get why it’s called Sacred Santal. It invokes feelings and visions of strength and meditation. It absorbs completely on damp skin and works just as well on dry skin, a rarity in oils. The texture is lovely and not oily at all, and feels almost like a dry oil. It spreads well and evenly. It comes in a beautiful dark brown glass bottle with a pump that does not dispense too much at once, as a little goes a long way. The bottle is slightly larger than most other oils at 4.2 ounces (most are 3.99 or 4 ounces). I did mix it with a vanilla oil because it goes wonderfully with vanilla and because it is a bit strong. It’s pricier than other oils, but totally worth it. You can mix it beautifully with other warm scents and you just don’t need as much. I am so impressed with the scent and the quality characteristics of the oil. I highly, highly recommend it. If you like the scent profile, you will not regret this purchase.

Amazing body oil! Aside from the scent, which is both subtle, wearable, and extremely addictive - the formula itself is rich, emollient, and very long lasting. It adds a really natural glow, and absorbs well while maintaining a kind of dewy shine throughout the day. It's light enough to use in the summer time, and if you combine it with a rich cream or butter is perfect for winter. Vanilla Verve: 5/5 - comforting, sexy, skin like vanilla - doesn't read too much like a desert or food, and is warm and enveloping. Light enough for summer or winter. Sacred Santal: 4/5 - incredible sandalwood scent. Wearable, with some subtle and lovely cocoa/nutty nuances without reading gourmand. Can read a bit dry and the sandalwood scent is synthetic. Nothing wrong with that, but it means it will linger way longer than you may want - lasting power on skin is about 12-20 hours depending on your nose, and if it gets on your clothes it may last weeks. Not for people who prefer their scents to fade by nighttime. Naked Neroli: 4/5 - masterful neroli/citrus/floral scent. It really leans into the bergamot impression on first application so it can feel a bit intense, but it settles into a nice unoffensive modern floral. Maybe a bit bright and strange for winter application but good for summer. It's a dry texture and thick, and so the slip and glide drags a bit on skin. I don't like the feeling of "tugging" my skin around, so I will usually either apply it to wet skin or mix a bit of moisturizer in just to allow it to flow smoothly across the skin. This is really the only downside, so I took off a single star. Otherwise it's perfect! Compared to Saltair body oils (which is the closest competitor), the Cyklar scents are LEAGUES ahead - much more refined, perfumic, and wearable. Saltair's scents tend to be too powerful and concentrated for me. However, I will admit that the Saltair body oil's have a much better glide on application, and seem to plump out the skin with hydration a bit more than Cyklar (probably due to the squalane and kukui nut oil). If you don't mind the heavy fragrance, and aren't concerned with vitamin C in your body oil, that could be a better option. But for me, Cyklar wins out.

This product is such a luxury and so easy to apply. Even for men with body hair, this body oil went on effortlessly after a shower and lightly drying off first. It absorbs very well into the skin and doesnt feel greasy whatsoever. Only needed about 4-5 pumps per limb so a little goes a long way. Great addition to their amazing body wash, and the vanilla scent is incredible and very neutral for both men and women and layers well under many other scents. Will be buying more!
