Kryssos, Halloumi Cheese (4 pack)

We have ordered this 4 pack twice. The first time the box came it was extremely well packed. Tightly taped up, very tight styrofoam insulation and cold packs. When I opened the box, the contents were cool. The second time, the box was packaged exactly the same way but the mail person left the box that was clearly labeled "PERISHABLE ITEM" "KEEP OUT OF SUN" on all sides in the driveway on a 90 degree day in direct sunlight. When I opened the box, it was quite warm inside. We threw the contents away. The seller definitely does an excellent job at providing a quality product that is very well packaged but it is perishable product that goes outside of their control once it is shipped. I am not sure I will buy again through the mail, no fault of the seller. Again, the product is great, the price is fair and the packing is excellent but...

I have never left a review so soon after receiving a product. Lol. I just received my package less than an hour ago and I got right down to it. Very well packaged with gel packs. The cheese is vacuum sealed. I tasted it and it took me back! I wanted to eat the whole thing. Very delicious!

At first glance this cheese looks like mozzarella . But it its pleasantly different. the texture is very firm but not hard. Taste is similar to Mozzarella , maybe a bit saltier . When thrown is a hot pan with a little olive oil it does not melt....AT ALL. It stay firm and browns nicely.

Great halloumi, decent price and always ships faster than anticipated. Kept cool during shipping and fantastic halloumi! Fast delivery too! We have bought this halloumi around 5 times now and it is always great!

The best I have tried. Such a great buttery flavor. Well packed and still soooo cold after sitting on front stoop in Florida. So good, barely made it to table after pan browning. Didn’t stand a chance setting on fire, ate to quickly, Opa!

Received this cypriot cheese in a keep cool container in a timely manner. The cheese was fresh, not dried out. Cheaper than in the local supermarket, if you can find it there. It's the perfect cheese to fry up for breakfast with some fresh fruit. Excellent taste and quality that I remember from Cyprus and Astoria, Queens.
