We had what seems to be a fairly unique problem - we wanted a portable aircon unit, but our living room had no windows or outside doors to put the exit vent through. However, we did have a cat flap left by the previous owners installed under a low cupboard in the outside wall. After a lot of searching, this cover fit our needs perfectly: all through summer the pipe can be screwed into it, and in winter we simply unscrew the pipe and put the cover back on. Super easy to install, and very happy that it came with screwcaps too.

I bought this to connect to the vent hose on my portable ac unit after drilling a vent hole through the wall. Very solid and works perfectly.

Was an excellent product as it was an exact fit for the external pipe on my air conditioning machine. However the cost of the product is not justified as it is too expensive hence only 3 stars

Did not fit my Bosch 5100 as described in instructions, had to force the hose to fit, would not screw in, kept leaving gaps around the hose

Pitch circle of screw fixing holes is inside of the cut out diameter so screws are useless. Now have to cut a ply backing plate with a smaller diameter hole to fix the screws into then fix that to the wall. Poor design.

EXPENSIVE but does the job ,I took down a extractor fan and screwed this over the 4” hole then screwed in the 6”ducting into it to extract air from portable air con.bit ugly on the wall but it’s the best thing I could find to vent the air

Item came in fast and everything was as described.Have not installed yet but looks like it will do the job.

Used to install a portable Ac unit through the wall. Only real complaint was the small white screw caps did not all snap onto the screws

We have a Toshiba RAC-PD1211CRU portable air conditioner and thie worked really nicely to attach the hose to a hole in the wall without any leakage - it seals to the hose much better than the ac unit itself does! This is due to the nice adhesive backed rubber gasket seals included. It's a pretty nicely thought out design. Just too bad it didn't come with any instructions - I could see some people struggling.

I installed these on a Lexan sheet to connect my portable A/C unit’s exhaust hose. I put a piece of aluminum screen in between it to keep critters out.
