I purchased this backup camera to use on my new RV. The camera has great picture quality and is easy to operate. The link between the camera and phone is very simple to use, once the app is downloaded to your phone. The magnets for the base are extremely strong, and it comes with everything you need to see behind a vehicle. I will use this on my next camping trip in a couple of weeks and will have updates, if necessary. Overall, good product for the money.

This camera is great. Please note the app only works well in portrait mode. Very good app - image quality is very good and it works at night very clearly.

Got this because we have no rear window in our van and want to be able to see what’s behind us when in heavy traffic and making lane changes etc. With a simple Wi-Fi connection in place, we stuck it on the back with a strong magnet and we were off. It worked amazing well and it was wide angle. I only gave 4 stars because I wish the camera could be rotated.

This was a waste of money!! I put it on my box truck for rear view. The camera does not turn it self off when not in use and there is no way to turn it on/off from app. The solar panel does absolutely nothing. If you want to turn it off when not in use you have to physically push button on the unit. Otherwise the battery drains within a few hours. If don’t use this often and are ok with turning it off when not in use go for it. The best thing about this camera is the magnet

No cables needed. The camera quality is very clear. Longer battery life and very strong magnets that doesn't scratch the cars paint. Excellent product. Highly recommended for a wireless backup camera.

This solar charging wifi connected wireless camera has a great image. Connecting to it is as easy. The problems with it is the connection itself. I have this as a backup camera for my wheel lift tow truck. it's only function is to watch my wheel lift stinger so I can line up with the vehicles I am towing. The connection keeps cutting out, goes to a white screen that says set up wireless connection, the frames per second are eradic. The highest frame per second rate is 25. The frame rate jumps around so freaking much that this is barely useable.This company, DoHonest, needs to do better....Another problem is switching from day vision, full color, to night vision, black and white. This camera doesn't really need a black and white night vision. The full color mode would probably do well enough, the camera should have an auto white function, adjusts the white out, like a cell phone or digital camera.The app you need, no choice of any other app, needs completely reworked. When saving an image, you can't find it on your phone. You can't record the video with it and you have no access to change settings on the camera, like disabling and enabling night vision, or choosing a save location for the images that are captured.I want full access to the camera, better wifi signal, better frames per second (at least 60 fps consistently), zoom, resolution adjustment, night vision control. Basically, take a good quality phone camera and functions and put it in this camera and possibly take a phones camera app as the app to use this camera...Do better DoHonest

Very functional backup camera. I like the options provided in the App and connectivity was solid with reasonably good night vision. The only issue we ran into was related to our particular vehicle - no magnetic surfaces high on the back, (where I really wanted the camera), but it was very secure on the bumper.

The Camera is great the image is good, range is excellent and the added perks of back up lines and night lighting make is an amazing buy at this price.

I received it last Saturday and had it installed and working in less than an hour. The picture quality is good and the system will support a second camera. I am using it on my boat trailer to view the back of my boat when backing into tight spaces. The camera consumes very little power so I have been able to wire it into my boat's house bank instead of using the trailer wiring, since the trailer is regularly submerged. Willy from DoHonest has been very helpful with getting the right unit and working on getting a compatible second camera.

Auf der Suche nach einer guten Frontkamera für meinen Skoda Karoq bin ich auf diese Kameraset gestoßen. Wichtig war mir eine kabellose Verbindung zum Monitor und ein gutes Bild.Beides habe ich mit diesem Kameraset gefunden.Installation:Die Installation war simpel. Da ich die Kamera als Frontkamera nutze, habe ich die Betriebsspannung vom Zündungsplus über ein Flachsicherungsadapter gelöst.Damit ist die Kamera auch gleich separat abgesichert.Die Kamera habe ich am Frontgrill des Stoßfänger mit Gummistreifen (siehe Bild) befestigt.Den Monitor habe ich auf einer Platte der nicht benutzten Phonebox mit Saugfuß montiert.Der Monitor wird über den Schalter im Anschlußstecker der Autosteckdose bei Bedarf eingeschaltet.Zur Funktion:-sehr klares detailreiches Bild mit Einstellmöglichkeiten für Helligkeit, Kontrast, Sättigung-zusätzlich zuschaltbare Hilfslinien mit variablen Einstellungen von Höhe, Breite und Mitte Diese bleiben bei Bedarf auch nach dem Ausschalten des Monitors erhalten.-auch bei laufendem Motor sind keine Störungen am Monitor sichtbar.-zusätzlich ist noch die Anbindung einer 2.Kamera möglich. Diese lässt sich einzeln oder im geteilten Monitor anzeigen. (Wird bei mir wegen der werksmäßigen Rückfahrkamera nicht gebraucht)Fazit:Ein gutes Kameraset welches vielseitig nutzbar ist und ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat.

This is a very neat little system. Having tried to put wires in a vehicle, this setup with its wireless camera seemed a great idea - and it is. The box comes with a useful choice of connector options and even more heplful, a way to very simply test things are working directly in the vehicle using the cigarette-lighter socket.Having proved it works, installation was not difficult but does require carefully checking you have the correct positive and negative wires. Clip connectors allow joining to existing wires with only a pair of pliers needed.I installed in a van and wanted an always-on system, so I connected into the number-plate light which I always keep on. Adjusted setting to remove the reversing grid-lines since they are not so critical for me.Result - power on, Monitor powered from the cigarette-lighter output - bingo! Image just there! Monitor not too big, not too small. Positioned on the dash in easy view. Good rear-view of the road and invaluable reversing aid. I am very happy. Definitely recommend this. Good image on the Monitor night and day.Other points - manual seems to cover everything adequately. The Monitor attaches to the support using a magnet which makes for easy removal if you don't want the thing visible when you leave your vehicle.A few things could be improved...(1) the monitor brightness really needs to be adjusted for night or day driving. It would be great to have a sensor which automatically controlled the monitor brightness. (2) the camera power connector is a bit big and requires drilling quite a large hole or routing the wire under some other fixture which is untidy. A slimmer power connector would be an improvement. (3) driving at night, glare from vehicle headlights behind can swamp the Monitor image a bit.Overall - a good purchase and a useful system. Definitely improves driving safety by giving a clear rear-view.Final comment - I will be changing the Monitor setup so it does not use the cigarette adapter, instead hardwiring it. The system is so useful - I want it this way. The kit comes with enough connector options to allow this.

Got it after reading the reviews. I have a 5m trailer. The connection was in and out. And even when it was working there was a 3-7 sec delay. I just requested the amazon return today. Now I have to find a new system.
