How to turn on/ off. Can’t see button on pictures?

Hello there! Thank for your interest in our product. For it to turn on, you have to plug the chord first and press the pulse controller (black button).

The dimensions listed for product do not seem to match the actual device, which is tall with the chute top on. What are the dimensions?

I'm not sure of the dimensions, but it breaks down for easy storage. I would say it's great size for small jobs.

Does this shred iceberg lettuce well?

I had to return this, it did not work

Can this make very thin slices, like for shaving parmesan cheese?

No. This food processor can "slice" parmesan cheese thinly, but not "shave" it. If you want to shave parmesan, you need a mandolin slicer, or you can also use a potato peeler as well to shave parmesan cheese. Both work very well.
