Perfect length for barrels and if needed it's not impossible to knot the reins to make them shorter and still nice. Not bad for trail riding either, they are a little thin but it'd a nice material and once I adjusted it works perfectly! I've had my horse pulling and some reins hurt my hand and there are super soft and hold up well.

These are the only reins I use, I have a big draft that likes to bite the bit and head for food, it's held up for 3 years until I lost it. I have sensitive hands and any other material leaves sores/blisters. I used the same ones to barrel race my Arabian, it's long enough from my 15hh Arabian to my 17hh thoroughbred, and I like some extra length. It took me less than a day to buy a new one because I love these things. Trust when I say they are comfortable, durable, and perfect length for any horse. I've even used for a 10hh pony, I tied an extra knot on each side and it was perfect.

The color and quality of these reins is great. They are soft and the perfect length for our large pony. I would definitely purchase again!

I’m a colt starter and wanted these to use on young horses. I particularly like that they have the option to remove the snaps and use them as regular western reins. Unfortunately they are too short and the poly material is slippery. Hopefully they make them a couple of feet longer and out of grippy cotton.

These are the perfect length and color for my horse. I go on pretty long trail rides, and work cattle, so I need comfortable reins. These are pretty heavy but it's perfect for my mare!!

I love so much about these reins, being my first foray away from straight English reins, they are soft and comfortable in the hand, and they are heavy enough to help convey a feel. They are gorgeous, but parts of the rope pull out very easily - so you have to take extra care when walking near posts or such with touch surfaces. I have a small galloway, and I feel that these reins are too short even for him, I am considering buying a longer set of slobber straps. These reins are not super expensive and I find them to represent great value for the money.
