VM-KD310 Fender Eliminator Kit Compatible with 390 Duke (2017+)

This is the first review i’ve Written on Amazon. I felt compelled, because this product was so good. It fits as well as the OEM one, it looks fantastic, is very well built, and has great install instructions on YouTube. I could not recommend this highly enough to anyone with a 2017/2018 ktm 390 duke (i think the fitting is the same with the 2018).

After receiving a damaged product due to shipping methods outside the control of Vagabond, I installed the second on my bike. The product is solid, finish is consistent and the install was as easy as can be. I highly recommend this product over the similar product from Japan that cost $120.

I am really torn on this because I like the design concept and ease of install. Additionally the company put out an installation video that couldn't be easier to follow.Fitted to my 2018 390 Duke there is a noticeable fit issue with a large gap at the back where it meets the tail lamp. All four spacers are the same length and according to the video and instructions they should be. The problem is that the spacers at the back meet the tail of the bike way before the front does leaving a large gap. I will need to locate some shorter spacers or try to machine some material off of two of them. Holding the unit up level with the tail has the rear spacers meeting before it gets close and the fronts are nowhere near touching.This is sold as having a close fit to keep out rain and road spray. With that large gap at the rear rainwater runs right down directly into it. I'll have to do a bit of modification but it should look decent when done.

This fender eliminator is well worth it. First off, their design is tight and clean. When you go to install it, the engineering and finish stand out. Well done! The included instructions are also clear and easy to follow, and there is even a video online if you want a full walkthrough.

I installed this on my 2018 Duke 390 and it's very easy to install and looks great. Only complain I have on this is the spacer provided needs to be bit smaller. It leaves a gap between the mount and bike - not the perfect fitting.I am gonna have to find slightly smaller spacer to achieve the perfect look.

This fit perfectly on my '18 Duke 390. Very well built and sturdy. The directions are well thought out and informative. Definitely pick this up if you want to get rid of the ugly stock piece that sticks out way over the rear tire.

the stock fender on the 390 Duke is stupid, this kit makes the bike so clean. the instructions were super clear, and wiring was no problem at all. my only gripe is there is an inconsistent gap. on the aft-portside edge of the kit, where the metal plate meets the plastic fairings of the bike, there is more of a gap there than the starboard side. i have a feeling this is due to the bike's plastic fairings, not the kit. if i care enough, i will loosen the kit, and try to re-mount it, but you don't even notice it since it's on the underside of the bike.

Good fender delete. Looks good, easy to install. Just a heads up though, hit a gnarly pothole today and bottomed my rear shock out which came up and bent the hell out of my plate and the plate bracket.Easy enough to bend back and didn't affect the lights or turn signals, but might be a consideration to the designers to re-adjust the angle the plate sits at.
