FRAUDULENT ADVERTISING!! AMAZON NEED TO REMOVE IT AS I TOLD THEM MONTHS AGO?? IF YOU HAVE SYSTEM AND NEED JUST EXTRA COLLAR IT MAY WORK FOR YOU. DISAPPOINTED IN LACK OF ACTION ON AMAZON'S PART IN NOT WITHDRAWING PRODUCT. DOES ANYONE AT AMAZON READ MAIL THAT IS SENT TO THEM????

I LOVE this product and it was EXTREMEMLY effective on our dogs (both blue heelers). Im not sure if its because that specific breed because they're so needy but hearing our voices calmed them down immediately. The only complaint I have is that you have to charge it every single day all day. We use it at night and they were dead dead by morning. Other than that. Loved it!

Quite an interesting novelty, not for its intended purpose, however.
This is quite useless as a pet correction gadget. Dogs will ignore the voice coming from the collar after a while, as you are not standing there for the dog to associate the voice with someone.I bought this at a dollar store for two bucks. As I expected, the battery in the collar unit was nearly dead, it only functions best when plugged in or its internal PL503040 3.7v polymmer battery replaced. So if your dog gets lost, the thing is quite useless, unless you keep it turned off. Still good for short term FRS communications. However, the other half of this novelty is that it seems to be using GMRS / FRS network. It picked up a couple of chatters while I tried it in the Long Beach Marina area. Both transmitters were too weak to make any understandable response back to them - one guy told me to throw the piece of rubbish away and get a REAL GMRS radio from a pawn shop! It's still useful for short-distance communications around the house like adjusting the antenna, or checking the fuse box. There are other GMRS gadget pairs that are cheaper. It was a good patent idea on paper, however, it was poorly executed. If it was properly executed with durable/replaceable collar batteries, it would have been too expensive or too bulky for the dog.

Works well, but only holds a charge for a day
This gives you two different chargers and determining which one is for which device requires a magnifying glass! I have to mark them with tape. The charge only holds for a day on the collar, so that is a pain. However, my dog appears to be reacting to my commands so far (I got it to tell him to hush when he barks in the yard). I can't comment on how far the signal will reach...I only use it in my yard.

Receiver is too darn big.
Returned this product. Receiver on collar is huge. I wouldn't want something this big around my own neck let alone my dog's. They really need to reduce the size of this thing.

Lab loves radio
My Lab really enjoys the radio..... he can run freely and returns when I page him to "recon" mama. We live near Appalachian trail, so there are miles of woods for him to explore. It is good that he gets to be a dog, not a toy on a leash all the time. This is where we use the radio. It is fun and rewarding for him to find me every time I call. When I need to locate him, the "beep" is loud and clear, so even when I cannot see him I can hear where he is. We go there every day and he just loves his radio.
