Agape Liquid Vitamin

Been using Agape for over a year now. First I got it for my 5 year old daughter and since she has MTHFR I couldn’t find the right liquid multi with the proper methyl Bs. This one seemed very expensive but if you use it for your little ones you need a very small amount (you must be careful and go low and slow as it is in fact a very potent multi), the bottle will last for months. However my husband and I fell in love with it as well so now all of us three take it regularly. It gives you energy especially as a preworkout. As I said if you have the MTHFR gene you should also be careful as some people are sensitive to methyl Bs and need to go slow and find the right dosage that works for them.The taste I’m not gonna lie I didn’t like it at first personally but both my husband and my daughter loved it at the very beginning . It grew in me though so now I take it with no problem straight from the spoon. I mix 1/4 of tsp once or twice daily in her drink for my now 6 year old. We started with 1/8 tsp every couple days and went up slowly. This (1/4 tsp daily) is where we have stopped cause she is in fact a little sensitive to methyl Bs so we can’t go higher than that.To end it , Agape has the most excellent costumer service!! I am writing this in reference to Agape liquid vitamin. I originally ordered this for my two autistic grandchildren, ages 7 and 2, in California. I live in Illinois and this was a way to help. I would do anything for my family, but this has proven to be a real Godsend product. My daughter-in-law reports that my granddaughter responded positively and noticeably on the first day of use! My 2 year old grandson is profoundly autistic and was stuck in his own little world despite the exhaustive efforts of my son and daughter-in-law. They had tried every avenue their extensive research revealed, and none had any lasting affect - until they started the grandchildren on Agape. I cannot tell you how this product has given them and myself hope that there is something that can impact them in a positive, noticeable, measurable way. I also am compelled to add that my interactions with the company President, Jack Reilly, have been nothing less than impressive. He is a compassionate man, of the highest quality. My 5 y.o. son regressed into autism around Age 2 after getting bit by a tick (susequently causing Lyme disease) and immune system dysfunction from the serious infection coupled with harmful adjuvants from the infamous childhood mandates that "do not cause autism."That said, we have worked diligently to heal the concurrent, underlying medical conditions that present themselves as autism symptoms. A huge first line of defense is a good quality multivitamin.Most store-bought vitamins don't cut it; often ASD kids have severe vitamin/mineral deficiencies. My son's labs were horrible when we first started healing him. He had literally no good vitamin/mineral stores in his body yet had a boatload of gut pathogens.Flashforward to almost a year of using Agape, and his labs look phenomenal. He was only low on one vitamin out of many (B6); furthermore, his leaky gut has resolved itself, and his behavior has greatly improved along with his health.When I first started our journey to recovery, we tried a powdered vitamin that is highly regarded. It was so strong in taste and chalky in texture that my son never got the minimum amount recommended. Once he got used to the flavor of Agape (he struggles with anything new), he takes it twice/day in a syringe no problem. He never refuses it as I think he knows that is makes him feel better.

I initially had high hopes for Agape Kosher Liquid Vitamin to help my ASD toddler. We both started taking the vitamin, however, after a few days of use, I began to experience numbness, tingling and burning nerve pain in my fingertips. I tried to push through it and keep taking the supplement, but the discomfort became unbearable. The symptoms subsided after a week or so once I stopped taking the vitamins, but would return every time I started taking them again. (Which I definitely recommend taking at the first sign of sickness, even which the side effects)Through research I discovered this product contains pyridoxine (a synthetic form of B6) instead of the activated form of B6, pyridoxal-5-phosphate (P5P). The synthetic pyridoxine has to be converted in the liver to the active P5P form. However, the conversion process can vary in efficiency among individuals, and some people may not convert pyridoxine to its active form effectively.This can potentially lead to issues such as painful peripheral neuropathy symptoms like what I experienced.This is particularly concerning for those with nonverbal children, who cannot communicate their discomfort who may be suffering. For this reason I had to stop the supplement for my son as well since I have no way to know if he was also being affected by the synthetic B6 since he is nonverbal.While the vitamin has its merits, I recommend proceeding with caution due to these potential side effects.

I was introduced to this multivitamin by a holistic doctor and I have never switched to anything else! It’s great, not bad tasting, and makes me feel better when I take it!

I haven’t seen any noticeable differences that I can attest specifically to the supplement, but that doesn’t mean there haven’t been any. He has been taking it daily for 3 months. He does seem to responding to anxiety more calmly. Will continue using it until the bottle is out to see if I want to order more.
