Seems Pretty Good
I purchased this anchoring kit for use with a LUTEC London 12513LE4-SL LED Post Solar Light Outdoor Vintage Street Light. I purchased this unit as a potential upgrade to the unit that came with the lamp post. The auger with the Gama anchor kit is longer than that provided with the LUYED lamp so I felt that I would get a more stable base. Installation was quick and relatively easy. To ensure a more stable base, the soil at the site was high in organic matter and had a lot of tree roots at depth, I dug a hole about 12" deep and a few inches greater in diameter than the base. I filled the hole with "Road Base", crushed concrete, and compacted it was well as practical using a 10" tamper. With the level bubble on the top of the auger keeping the auger going straight down was relatively easy. Pounded in the supplied plastic lags and the job was done. After installing the lamp post the installation was relatively stable. I'm sure I could have wobbled the lamp post if I pushed hard enough, But I'm not anticipating any earthquakes. Is it as stable as filling a 12-15" diameter 24" long tube with concrete, No. Was it was way quicker and more than likely as stable, Yes.

Perfect for the Lutec lamp post
I was hard wiring and installing two Lutec lamp posts. I did not want to have to pour concrete and I did want an option of moving them if need be. These were easy to install and work great. Unlike the system used in the solar Lutec lamps, these are solid metal. The ones that come with the solar lamps are plastic and the depth of the screw in post is shorter. This one has a long and effective central metal screw that is long and bites the dirt. It is easy to insert and comes with a leveling bubble that guarantees it is level. The lamp fits perfectly on the base. An easy way to put in a permanent post base.

Ground stake for lamp post.
Great product. Relatively easy to get in ground but I would suggest starting a hole before you start drilling the actual spike esp if your ground is like hard clay Georgia soil. After the first one it was easier to get them in quickly.

and works like a charm
This is engineered really well, and works like a charm. Although it is made of plastic, it's not cheaply manufactured, and I appreciated the thoughtful details of the built-in bubble level, and the bolt caps. My soil is sandy and rocky, so the auger doesn't have as much to "grab" as it would in solid-packed clay, but the three large stabilizing stakes really helped. It's not a rock-solid mount like you would get from a concrete block, but this plenty robust for a backyard installation. And the nice thing is that I could move it if I wanted to. One installation suggestion: If your ground is rocky, you might have to pound down the auger with a hammer, periodically while you're screwing it in, to make progress. In that case, don't follow the instructions that tell you to insert the auger into the mount at the very beginning -- you'll have nothing to pound on. Instead, just work with the auger itself until you have it screwed down to just an inch or two from ground level, *then* add the mount so you can use the bubble level for your last couple of rotations.

Ease to install! Solid construction.
This product made our lives much easier. I once thought I needed to dig a deep hole and buy concrete to get the item mounted. Thsi product saved time and effort. My item is installed and it only took minutes. i would highly recommend this product. We are pleased!!

Easy to assemble
Easy to assemble. Great lighting, better then expected. Would prefer a more solid foundation. May encase the bottom in cement before winter.

Worked great
Extremely easy to install The base us plastic so you Probably would want to make sure the post and light are relatively light weight like aluminum. Was going to use a fixture that was pretty heavy and changed my mind after it came in. Works great with a single light fixture

Great Product
I love when Iโm so impressed with an Amazon purchase that I canโt wait to write a positive review( I wish it happened more often than not) this anchor works with other brands with minor modifications like widening the base mounting holes on the lamp with a step bit. It works great, digs into rocky gravel with ease. Acceptable sturdiness considering the lamp is screwed in vs concrete. The solar lamp lighting performance is what sucks. I converted my solar lamps to 12 volt using standard bulb sockets and 12 volt light bulbs all found on Amazon. The brightness is much better. All said and done Iโm happy with everything and was an enjoyable experience when all the modifications worked as intended.
