What's the lowest room temp the ice maker can be used in? i.e. a cold garage in the winter time okay?

Dear customer , the surround temperature can affect the cooling capacity of this ice maker . In winter , we do not recommend to use in the garage .Thank you .

Anyone know why my 1200w inverter won’t power on the compressor? Can I add an external capacitor to make it run?

Depends on what inverter and battery you use.. As it requires a 2000 watt inverter and at least 1 Lithium 12volt 100ah battery. That has a 100amp BMS on it... This is why people use 2x 100ah batteries. You get 200amp BMS when you parallel them. Where a single 200ah Battery still is limited to 100amp BMS..

Does it keep the ice or do I have to bag it and put it in the freezer?

You will need to bag and freeze. This ice maker doesn't keep it cold enough to be used as freezer. Works great and makes about 6-9 cubes every 10-12 minutes. You will need to empty tray about every 45 minutes or unit will stop until emptied again.

My ice maker stuck on icefull when its empty. How can I fix this issue?

We’ve owned 3 of these ice-makers in succession over 5 years. They run constantly 24/7 for 1 to 2 years, then something goes wrong with the automation sequence of operation, and they stop. If your unit is new, return it. If it’s in the neighborhood of 2-3 yrs old, toss it, it isn’t worth fixing in my opinion. We’ve decided that a new unit every two years is still a good value. It is a useful appliance.
