Absolutely delightful
I decided to ignore the many negative reviews these bagels had accrued and buy them to try for myself. Well, I'm glad I did, they're really quite delicious both raw and toasted. Soft and even somewhat fluffy, not too chewy, and with a definite bagel flavor. They're just about all I could ask for. What I don't understand is a lot of people here seem to be expecting these to have the exact taste and texture of a normal flour bagel. This isn't magic or any kind of wizardry, when you make a food that omits the MAIN ingredient (flour), they're going to be a bit different. If you really want a low carb bagel, then of course it's not going to taste like the best bagel you've ever had in your life. After all, it has to be made out of something different. With those completely realistic expectations in mind, these are fantastic. I've had plenty of low carb breads before, made from sprouted grains, wheat & oat brans, flax, gluten, "wheat protein isolate", soy, you name it, and these are no worse than anything I've had before, and I'd say definitely a step above many because of the level of similarity they have to real bagels. If you have an open mind and understanding that these are NOT made of white flour, but still delicious and probably the best low carb alternative you're going to get, then these are fantastic bagels. I don't have any disease or allergy, I just don't eat white flour because I don't consider it very nutritious, and I'm kind of a health nut. I used to love bagels, but haven't eaten a single one in many years. Getting the chance to again is awesome, so I'm not going to complain about the little differences between the two.

Low Carb Bagels
I really wanted to like these and on first inspection they seemed like a wonderful, fluffy wheat bagel. I toasted and slathered on a cream cheese / salmon spread. The first bite was ok... a little different, the second bite.. I better chew and swallow fast, the the third bite... threw up in my mouth a little bit, had to spit it out. They really seem lovely and if I wasn't such a bread connoisseur maybe I wouldn't have known the difference?? It was kind of like chewing up a cardboard box... you can chew for awhile until it gets nasty and then almost have to plug your nose to swallow (if you can).I'm so sorry to give these a poor review because they really went to lengths to make a great product.

A Real Treat At 50 Calories Per Bagel and Zero Net Carbs
I really enjoyed these. They are soft, bread like and toast well. They have a slight bight that some people might find a little chewy, but I enjoy it. So far I have eaten them as mini pizza, sandwiches and toasted with no blood sugar spike. I'm very pleased and plan on ordering more. At 50 calories per bagel and Zero Net Carbs they are a real treat.

Not As Bad As Their Bread, But Not Much Better
I took a chance and ordered both the bread and bagels at the same time. The bagels are better than the bread. They have a crust and consistency more like "real" bagels, but aren't very flavorful. I described the bread as tasting like cardboard, but with a heavy dose of spread to disguise the unusual flavor, the bagels are at least tolerable and I'll finish the package. I can't compare the flavor well but maybe dry uncooked oatmeal comes close. Won't buy them again though. I know you sacrifice quality and flavor in special dietary products compared to the real thing, but this brand is at the bottom of the totem pole!

tasty
There is nothing wrong with these bagels and a lot of things right! After two weeks in Atkins induction with not one speck of flour in my diet, these beauties were amazing. I toasted, and dipped in olive oil and parm. I am thinking of all the other things I can do with these now. Egg/tuna salad sandwich, cream cheese and salami, burgers accompanied by a bread product! Don't let the negative reviews stop you, especially if you are jonesing for some freakin bread and don't want to waste any carbs. Zero carbs and 7 grams of fiber. I say YES!

Awful!
These bagels are awful. The crusts are so chewy they are more like rubber than bread. The insides are just the opposite - they seem to disappear as soon as you take a bite. I tried them fresh, toasted and frozen then toasted. I put jelly on them, peanut butter and just butter. Nothing made them better. I will not order them again.

I Hate It!
I hate it! They were not edible at all! They were extremely chewy and had a very bad flavor to them. Also, the out side of the bagels were very leathery when you bite down into them. Nothing about these bagels were pleasing or in any way worth eating. I would not suggest to anyone to purchase these bagels.
