S.R. Smith BASK-CH Pool Game, Stainless Steel

Easy to assemble and very sturdy. The kids love it! Endless hours of play. Wanted to order locally, but was told by several businesses that it would be weeks before it would come in. Got this in days!

Fasted shipped item from amazon ever. We bought this basketball hoop to be installed in an existing concrete pool deck. We hire a pool company to core drill our deck and assemble. The pool installer loved it some much, he’s buying one for himself. Looks so much better than our portable basketball hoop. Clear backboard keep the view up.

Very well made. You will need at least three people to get this thing put together and in place. Once you get it set-up everyone loves it. Be careful of the small clear washers as if you drop one in your pool, good luck finding it! Great hoop, lots of fun.

Great quality- but you'd expect to get a net with it when spending this kind of money.

This is a solid product that has been used regularly since purchasing. Assembly was easy and installation can be done by one person. But recommend two. I had my holding brackets installed when my concrete was poured. Not sure how much work would be required to set the holding brackets if you’re starting from scratch. You obviously can’t slam dunk because the rim is not spring loaded. Should get many years of fun/use out of it.

Ordered this as a replacement to our previous model SR Smith poolside in ground basketball backboard and hoop that rusted after 4-5 years. It is much less sturdy. Lots of acrylic and less steel make it flimsy. Find myself constant tightening loose screws but afraid to crack the acrylic. Like its looks but would like it to be a bit more sturdy.Updated review: backboard acrylic cracked within a year. I had ordered two (one for each side of pool). Replaced the backboard with the second one and it lasted about a year as well. The acrylic broke in half landing on my son’s head! Luckily he was ok and it did not cut his head or face. Also, the stainless steel welds broke on both hoops. I do not recommend this backboard!

Not build to last; first one I returned. The alum. welds did not hold; second one is already about to break.

Very nice, but like any hoop you can't hang on it. Considering the price you would think it would be built to handle some hanging. That's what kids want to do! Dunk and hang! You need two people to put it together. It can be a pain to get a couple of the bolts in as well.
