Dwarf Crayfish (Cambarellus Diminutus) by ShrimpBoutique.com (3 Dwarf Crayfish)

This little crayfish has all the behavior features we dream off and none of the bad habits it's bigger cousins come with. They do not destroy plants, they do not rearrange their environment and they do not try and escape. Very peaceful, a bit shy and gets along with other shrimp species (Cherry Red, Amano and Ghost shrimp). Does require perfect water conditions and I recommend you have a natural aquarium setup with lots of mature plants and hiding spaces (drift wood, etc.) Use sponge filters, no fast moving water and if your tank is mature and stable... you should have no problem keeping these little ones. (maximum size about 1.5 inches) Mine started to breed and I see their off spring every now and then. My tank is heavily planted with lots of hiding and they share the tank with Shrimp and Indian Dwarf Puffers. All get along well... as long as the puffers are fed well, of course.

Soon after purchasing the blue dwarfs from OneStopAquatics I saw the post for these little ones. I couldn't help myself so I got 2 berried females. I was quite worried about them being stressed while they were being shipped but they arrived quickly and safely (thank goodness since they had many eggs which = many lives). A tank was set up for them so that they each had their own hiding space with a bubble filter to circulate the water a bit. They look super cute. Can't wait to see their babies =).

Arrived in great condition. Don't know if it's still alive tho, it has disappeared into my 20 gallon aquarium.

I received exactly as advertised. Berried female. I would give more stars if able as the lady had to be very healthy to stand such a long shipping ordeal(no fault of the seller or Amazon), with little visible stress- she lost none of her eggs during shipment or acclimation.
