Red Copper 8-Inch Fry Pan

So far, I love it. I wanted the kind of non-stick that wouldn’t wear down, scratch, or give off toxic chemicals. I also wanted skillets I could put in the oven. I did my homework and found these came highly recommended by Consumer reports without a heavy price tag. Seasoning was simple and everything I’ve tried to cook in it (and the smaller RedCopper pan, too) has slid right out beautifully, whether I use oil or not. Super easy to clean; no need for dishwasher. It seems as though it will be durable, but I haven’t had it long enough to tell. It’s reasonably lightweight—I don’t think it could be any lighter and do the job as well and be as durable.

Amazing fry pan, i have purchased other that claimed to be NonStick and NonScratch and was not as advertised but this Red Copper is amazing. My food literally slids off the pan when cooking is done and no scratches have appeared when using a spatula. I was so amazed that I also puchesed the 10" fry pan.

I've used this brand for several years and have version from small to large. This one is a medium sized one useful for many applications. The handle stays cool and the finish on the inside of the other pans I have of this type so far has held up well. The pan seems to distribute heat evenly. Like any pan with this type of finish, it will need to be replaced once the finish gets scratched.

The pan is great for frying a few eggs or making crepes. Food does not stick and turning or flipping food is easy. Be careful to keep food away from the handle rivets. Food sticks to them and they are not that easy to clean.

I've had many pans over the years; stainless steel (Revere Ware), teflon (T-Fal), ceramic, but Red Copper is the best I've ever owned. have a whole set of Red Copper frying pans and have been using them for over 2 years, and I love them. As long as you season them occasionally, hand wash them with minimal soap they will be the best pans you have ever used.I bought this 8" for a second egg pan which is really nice to have for individual egg and omelette orders.Plus they look great hung up, nice and handy, in my kitchen.

Good size for one or two people, perfect for your morning eggs or a grilled cheese. I seasoned it as instructed and it never sticks and so easy to clean.

I now own a half dozen of these. Even after food starts sticking a bit as they do on all such pans, the are easily and safely restored to nonstick with s simple barkeepers friend scrub.

I am so disappointed in this pan. Everything sticks to it! I made potstickers and they all stuck to the pan and broke open. Scrambled eggs stick even if I use a pat of butter. I have another red copper pan that I love and nothing sticks to it. Perhaps this one is defective but I will probably stop using it which is extremely disappointing since the pan was not cheap.
