Vermont Bread Soft Whole Wheat, 24 oz

I've been buying Vermont Soft Whole Wheat bread for years now because I watch my sugar intake and low-sugar bread is not that easy to find. Vermont Soft Whole Wheat is about 1 g of sugar per slice - and that's natural sugar, not added sugar - yet it tastes great! Compare for yourself. Most other store bought bread has at least twice as much sugar and it is often "added sugar". One famous brand (which shall remain unnamed) of white bread comes in at 11 g per slice! Wheat is a naturally sweet tasting grain. It doesn't need added sugar. Vermont doesn't brag about this, but their Vermont Soft Whole Wheat is just about the lowest around.

Soft, fresh and filling. Love this bread and interestingly stays fresh when tightly wrapped. I discovered by removing the air and using clip then placing in ziploc style bag, it stays longer. I prefer to refrigerate my bread by the way...

Soft, generously sized slices.. Not too thick. I like how it doesn't have that strong wheat taste like other brands. Not dry! Finally I found a wheat bread that makes french toast taste great!

Very good purchase. I purchased on 12/17/2017 and the bread I received has an expiring date of Jan 05 2018. This is even better than buying in a grocery store. Trader Joe's cannot even make it that far.

the bread is not soft at all. What is worse is that it is dry and stiff. It's tasteless. It makes the sandwich worse and I was very hungry at the time. I think they label it "Soft" to deceive us. I threw it away. I hate to throw anything away.

This bread is wheat and very soft. It is so soft in fact I have actually touched a slice and admired its softness, after buying some rough and dry bread. Perfect for sandwiches.
